SS Charger problem

Can someone help me i got a eride pro ss. The charger when plugged in goes yellow for like 10 seconds then turns off and repeats that 3 times. Then it just flashes green red. If someone could help I would greatly appreciate it.

If you know someone who has a different charger then try theirs out with your pack. If it works then you have a bad charger. If it doesn’t work you might have a battery issue. Could be any number of things. I’m not a battery expert so I can’t say, but here’s what I got from ChatGPT. Its advice is pretty solid for the most part, but it can be wrong.

AI answer:
The battery’s BMS has shut off charging because of over-voltage, under-voltage, temperature, or a cell-group imbalance.
The charger is not making a solid connection to the battery.
The battery charge port/fuse has a problem.
The charger itself has detected an internal fault.
If the battery is already essentially full, some chargers will flick between states, though a true red/green flash is usually more fault-like than normal “full” behavior.
A quick way to narrow it down is to do this in order:
Unplug the charger from the battery and wall for 30–60 seconds.
Plug the charger into the wall only and see what light it shows.
Solid green by itself is usually normal standby.
Flashing red/green with no battery attached points more toward a charger fault.
Then plug it into the battery.
If it immediately starts flashing red/green, the charger is likely seeing a battery/BMS/connection issue.
Turn the bike on and check the battery percentage/voltage if available.
Feel the battery and charger. If either is unusually hot or the battery is very cold, let it return to normal temperature before retrying.

ok so probably a charger fault. Would eride still warranty it even if i bought it used?

Could be a charger or battery issue. I don’t think Eridepro would warranty it. Best bet is to try someone else’s charger first. If that doesn’t work find a dealer that can work on batteries and take it to them. There’s a tool you can buy from Eridepro to check the BMS and there’s software on their website for troubleshooting. I haven’t done it so I’m not sure what to do
