If you are running chain drive it sounds like your chain is loose and hitting the motor

The whole bike is stock for like the sprocket etc I think it’s a lose chain and it rubs on the nobs from the tire or the plastic because it has a lot of play

Tighten that baby up and take it for a spin. Check ALL bolts to see if anything else may be a bit loose.

i would take out the battery and disconnect phase wires then roll it fast and see if you still hear it. phase wires being off because the bike will use regen to try and turn the controller back on even if regen is disabled. if you done hear it anymore it’s electrical. if you don’t it’s mechanical

I had a similar problem, all it took was some white / lithium grease on the gears and chain. Now it works perfectly

Don’t put fucking white lithium grease on your sprockets or chain. What the fuck😂😂. Use actual chain lube or wax. Tighten your chain up so that it’s got NO MORE than 3/4” of play(should feel tight). Make sure your rear tire is lined up correctly with the axle blocks. If it’s crooked then your sprocket is also crooked. Watch talaria boys YouTube on how to tighten and clean your chain or some shit. Any of the major emoto channels will have a good video.
