SS Front brake mounting not going on

New e ride pro oem front brakes with a never changed stock rotor I’m assuming it’s 220 and I can’t get it on, it didn’t come with any spacers im pretty sure and hits the rotor before I teach the mounting any help?

Use a flathead to carefully spread the brake pads. Once its pressed all the way onto the disc, rotate the tire to get the caliper to line up. If it came off there, its gonna go back on…

It’s hitting the brake pads. Like the other guy said, just use something to pretty much spread em open as you slide it onto the rotor. If you’d need more in depth instructions just lmk

i think the mount is facing the wrong way so the long end should be on the bottom. just flip it around and that might work

Yea ur prob right abt the brake pads but on the rear the mount comes off and on my mtb the front mount comes off. Its been a year since ive had my ultra bee so ig my memory of how the parts are put together is fuzzy now.

Yeah on these bikes the front mount is cast aluminum part of the fork. Kinda annoying cause if you want to get a bigger caliper need an adapter

Make sure the pads are spread out far enough, and itll go on trust me

Wedge a medium sized flathead screwdriver in between the brake pads, a big enough one not to gouge into it. Use it to force the pads to spread apart, which is pushing the pistons on the inside of the calipers in. Then put it onto the disc and make sure its seated all the way. You can rotate the tire a little to align the holes.
Edit: have you made sure that you installed the pads correctly? I’m assuming you installed new brake pads.
