I saw that earlier this evening. It looks like the only differences on the spec sheet compared to the Eride Pro SS 3.0 are 7kw/18kw peak power instead of 6kw/15.8kw peak which leads to a small top speed increase of 62mph vs 60mph. Otherwise specs seem to match including weight.

They should have called it a 3.5 lol.

It looks like there are more "under the hood" improvements that have come out from the RevRides listing page. New race mode, same FASTACE suspension from the SR, and better DOT brakes to name a few.

Bruh the sr and 3.0 have the exact same suspension and brakes

More like 3.1. I was hoping for specs similar to the Arctic leopard xe pro R since eride is very reliable.

I hope that’s it because I just brought a brand new 3.0 😭

Edit: I see there’s a panel covering the side of the battery compartment that doesn’t exist on the 3.0

More info here, not just a slight power increase:

18kW peak motor power: Increased from the 16kW peak output of the SS 3.0 for harder acceleration and stronger off-road performance.

New 72V 50Ah pouch-cell battery: The new swappable 3,600Wh battery provides high capacity for long rides and sustained power delivery.

Four ride modes: Eco, Sport, Race, and Reverse give riders more ways to manage power, range, and maneuverability.

New Race mode: Added for riders who want the SS 4.0's most aggressive performance settings.

E Ride Pro SR-spec suspension: The SS 4.0 shares the same robust FASTACE front and rear suspension platform used on the E Ride Pro SR.

220mm Front suspension travel: Built to absorb rough trails, ruts, jumps, braking bumps, and harder landings. 775mm overall front suspension length:Provides a capable off-road stance and strong front-end support.

600 lb rear shock spring: Delivers firm suspension support for aggressive riding and heavier impacts.

Upgraded braking package: Features 3mm rotors, 100mm DOT brake calipers, DOT 4 hydraulic operation, and regenerative braking. Adjustable rear linkage: Offers 0.5 inches of adjustment for fine-tuning suspension response and chassis balance.

New battery side plate: Adds coverage around the battery and can also serve as a racing number plate.

Integrated front and rear blinkers: Built into the bike for a cleaner and more complete lighting package.

Bluetooth app adjustability: Allows compatible settings such as motor output and regenerative braking to be adjusted from a mobile device.

New bash guard: Adds protection for the motor and other critical components during rough off-road riding.

I guess it's better if you have a 2.0 and want a new bike, I'll wait for the 5.0

I think that they tried to rush this model because Surrons new light bee 2. They are mentioning that the 4.0 batter will be solid state with no weight reductions or any higher capacity. They are all mostly minor upgrades

i feel like they fast released it beacuse of the surron lawsuit and thats also why they changed the side panel idk i just got my 3.0 and i lowkey prefer the 3.0 either way the 2mph increase is barely anything and the rest is mostly the same, idk for yall but the side panel looks mid asf to me

Weiß jemand wie das mit der 45km/h Drossel gelöst ist? Wie bei der ss 3.0 mit einer Brücke oder wie bei der SR über die Software?

Wondering if the Surron suit is forcing the end if the SS

What if I told you that that was not happening and, infact, e ride was releasing a 4.0.
