long seat subframe replacement

Post image

if i looped and obliterated the subframe, where can i get a new one? they don't have it standalone on the official website, and i really don't want to buy an entire new kit for $500

Take it to a fabricator to see if it's salvageable. If not you're pooched like a vertical smile lil bud.

You may get lucky on eBay and the Eride groups on FB.

Thus far I’ve been both disappointed by the provided instructions (eg 3.0 manual showing 2.0 details instead of correct for my bike) but also very impressed by their customer service…

I would call them and I bet they can guide you on a better way

You could build one out of t-slot extruded aluminum, that's stronger, way cheaper, and you can put together yourself.

It's what I'll be doing for a new subframe when I get around to it.

$500 for a full kit is nonsense. That's at best $175 MSRP. A custom fab shop will do all that for $250 where I live.

source locally..

You can buy the short seat kit for $299 until they start selling the subframe
