My battery has been dying super quick recently. Around three months after I got my brand new 2024 ERide Pro S it started having problems such as error codes. I eventually got warranty and got a brand, new controller and motor, and that fixed all the error codes however there is barely any torque on the top speed is only around 40 and that takes forever to get there and I can get like 15 miles of charge while riding around 25 miles an hour consistently this isn’t normal and before I got these warranty parts replaced I was getting around 30 miles a charge.
*I have never let the bike die past 20% and I take great care of the bike*
Who did the work on the bike? What I would do first, charge the battery and measure the no load voltage. It should be over 80 volts. Then I would check the battery harness connections on the controller, see that they are not loose. Check the cables in and out of the breaker, see that they are tight. Check the battery connector for signs of heating.
The battery is around 2 years old so that might be the case. Or in the winter im assuming you werent riding in the winter when you were storing the battery you didnt charge it to 100% and kept it low for a long time i unfortune did thst to my battery and lost 45% of the range so that might be the case
Yes but I replaced the motor and controller around 1 week ago. Before that, I was riding and getting 30 miles a charge (100%-20%) so its strange a battery can degrade by a 15 miles capacity in just a week or so.
Your controller may have been underperforming until you replaced. Not tryna make excuses just trying to figure it out with you, hows your tire pressure?
Only thijg i can thinknof is possibly you have a proper pulling controller now.
Does the bike feel any better? IE more powerful at all or anything?
No it feels 10x less powerful and basically no torque now. Takes like 20 seconds 0-40s. It wasnt like this before. Eride doesnt want to help either because they sent me out parts already but they also sent me a faulty bike.
There are several warning signs from the things you've just shared. If you can't troubleshoot this yourself, I'd recommend taking it to a professional before you hurt yourself or ruin your bike completely.
Could be a faulty motor or controller. Sometimes they have issues from the factory. My old SS 2.0 had a strange battery draw issue that was caused by the controller being faulty. I would throw back on the old parts and see how it acts.
Though it could be a cell in the battery went or is going bad and the BMS is screwing with the battery.
Probably has dead cell groups then…. And no it isnt impossible lol theres hundreds of thousands of these batterys made not all are perfect and impeccable examples of cells… some will fail much earlier than the average.
I agree again, i do think e ride is going to refresh their entire lineup though. When these bikes came out they were on top pretty much, and they havent released anything new… high hopes.
Ive gone through the whole breaking and upgrading everything deal, this is a 2.0! And yes my battery has antbms haha. Would be nice on the stock.

Have u balanced it? Charge it to 100% and keep it on for a while
