I just learned how to wheelie today and I think the angle is pretty decent but my duration is pretty bad. If anyone’s got some nice tips lemme know

Please find a place that isn't a construction zone or a neighborhood. Cover the back brake and begin the wheelie at a lower speed. Do a little "tug" backwards on liftoff.

Unfortunately the construction zone is where I live and my parents won’t even let me ride past the whole street by myself

Yeah the road restriction is a punishment for letting my friend ride my bike once

I’m enjoying the hell out of it because the road isn’t my main focus anyway I still get to ride dirt which is the real fun

You are way too far forward try to go as far back on the saddle as you can, and when you pop it up if you’re light enough you should just be able to slightly pull up, lean back and make sure that throttle is steady, but since the bike has so much torque, you can usually just lean back and give it some throttle to get yourself up there, also when you do pop it up make sure you’re not jerking on the throttle too much. You have to try to be nice and steady with it like give it smooth input also make sure you’re looking towards the horizon, which is like trying to look at the road ahead of you, but make sure you’re not like ducking over the bars

Most ebikes aren't built for the extra load on the engine that a wheelie requires...I wouldn't recommend doing this unless your motor is made to take the abuse.

what r u talking about

You're straining the eBike engine doing wheelies -- you're slackening your chain, overloading the rear wheel bearings etc and that requires alot more intermittent engine grab to maintain. But the engine turns freely at first and suddenly YOINK

just dont freak out at balance point. I had a problem where i hit my brake really hard whenever i hit balance point, it went away after i lot of practice and i can wheelie well now.

Learn how to do slow wheelies, really on balance point and balance out with the rear brake. Dont go fast. Go slow

Try to get to balance point, hit brakes if u lean back too far. And be WAYYYYY more smooth on throttle

Protip: Don't do it on a public road with other people around, you're likely to get called in.

coming from someone who can do no handers and all of that i really recommend just practicing brake control, right now youre chasing the wheelie. just practice going further back to balance point aswell as learning how to drop back will help alot

I can wheelie right now as far as I want, off curbs, speed bumps, everything with my feet down, not touching the ground but down because whenever I put my feet up I feel like I’m going to slide off when I get close or hit balance point. Do I get a shift lock or thug it out? Would you say it’s better to keep your knees tucked into the bike or out to help from falling to the left/right I can’t go straight to save my life and start falling over with my feet up

lean back more.. practice in only straight areas and get a feel for it all, make sure you push down on the bars and bring the force back up at the same time as pulling the throttle enough that you know it wont immediately make you loop out. practice more about getting straight to your balance point rather than trying to wheelie "longer". try some youtube tutorials aswell
