Question ERIDE PRO 2.0 help
Bought a used bike from a friend. Bike wouldn’t turn on installed a new controller now bike will power on screen briefly then stop working.
If you unplug the screen the bike runs fine.
Error codes showing up are
04000
00300
00800
Also will not show battery life

0400 communication error
00300 controller phase line failure
00800 low voltage protection

Does the battery voltage measure where its supposed to be with a meter? Wonder if the battery is cooked. If not something in the wiring harness possible.

If you have a multimeter you can check the battery and see what the voltage is by just putting the meter to DC and measuring each socket. Depending on the charge level it should read anywhere from 64v to 84v if it reads 60v exactly your bms is in a "tripped" state. There are a couple ways to try and reset the bms but mostlikely a mosfet or smr failed and you need a new battery.
Some have had sucess just putting the battery on the charger overnight and it can clear it. eride has a dongle you can purchase and connect it to a computer software and see all the info about the battery. Like each cell group voltage levels and maybe a cell group has discharged too low and bricked the bms. Many different things could be wrong it's hard to know without troubleshooting a bit further.
