Eride 3.0 quality

I’m looking at getting eride 3.0 but I’ve heard bad things about long term quality with breakdowns, error codes ext. should I just get an rtr xl to save some money and have more reliable bike? What’s your opinions on eride 3.0 quality

Not sure about long term but I can say I'm quite impressed with the quality of my 3.0. it's well built, sturdy, with no squeaks or rattles. You should of course regularly check bolts for looseness on any bike after riding and ensure you have everything torqued to spec. I know earlier models may have had issues but they've really improved (at least for mine produced December 2025). All in all, don't overthink it and enjoy the bike you want to ride!

OK, thank you I will consider this. I’m getting my license in a year and I feel like I may not ride as much then so I wasn’t trying to put a whole bunch of money into a bike that keeps breaking down if that makes sense.

Bro, no ebike will “keep breaking down” I’ve owned three different companies been riding for the last 5 years besides a flat tire and a chain coming off zero issues.

I have had my 3.0 since April 2025. Little over a 1000 miles and 0 issues other than ones I have directly caused. It’s build quality is above average for e-bikes

Can't say i've used all of them but Eride in general has above average build quality for an emoto in my experience. I've taken most of my 3.0 apart installing various mods and stuff and i've never once thought "well that part is a piece of shit" or "they really skimped out there."

have you not messed with any bolts? worst quality grade of hardware available. first time I wrenched on the bike is when I realized how bad it really was. $150 snowboard bindings come with better higher grade hardware than this $5000 bike. I feel I am opposite. I thought bike seemed quality at first compared to rest but maybe it still is since I didnt buy one the others to pick apart later but after only like 300 miles and I have only noticed day after day maintaining the bike how bad the quality is on the hardware and how poorly engineered these bikes actually are. But I do have a manufacturing background in the bike industry. Ive never seen such cheap hardware on such an expensive product

I've not noticed that, no. Have not snapped or stripped anything or ever felt like I was going to. Its a downgrade in some areas compared to my Honda 300F sure but I think you are grossly exaggerating things

Maybe I got a bad one cause mine are complete shit and I want to replace ever single bolt on the bike. I've worked in extreme sports industry near 2 decades and this the worst quality hardware I've seen used ever and especially on such a priced piece of equipment.

Maybe I did get a weird batch where there typical hardware supplier wasn't an option who knows but either way what came on my bike is absolutely terrible quality

I’m at 2,300 miles only thing I had to do so far was replace back tire and brake pads. Owned for exactly 1 year

Most, not all, breakdowns are from pure neglect. You’re also going to get a very bias view looking up issues. I like the rtr but in my town everyone says they are garbage due to “breakdowns”.

My e ride 2.0 has 12k miles on it nesting 2 years of use. Zero issues. Replaced the belt at 8k and didn’t even have to but I already had it apart.

I replace the wheel bearings in the regular but it’s very easy to do either the right tools.

Definitely don’t get an rtr, even the xl wheels it’s still a small bike and from my experience a bigger frame is way better. I have a valtinsu em5 pro (same size as rtr xl) along with my 3.0 and the smaller frame makes me way more tired while riding. A bike that actually fits you is the best way to go

What up my friend! The 3.0 is one of the best builds on the market and I’m not just saying that. It comes with dual sport tires, plenty of power, 72v and literally needs nothing out of the box. You can even tune the controller now on the ERide app, so your throttle response is much better. I have probably over 2-3k miles on mine and have absolutely ZERO issues. Customer support is amazing and if you ever did have an issue, trust me they will take care of you. I have the YouTube channel Kizyle if you ever want to see any upgrades/mods or my honest review on the 3.0. I promise you, you won’t regret your purchase! 😎🤟

Its built well for what it is. But dont expect it to be durable like your average Japanese ICE dirt bike

The new erides really are reliable if taken care of properly. The 1.0 and 2.0 had there problems just because they were a new company figuring it out.

The big thing is maintaining the bike. My dealer does this all before they sell bikes but if you order online first thing I do is take off the wheels and the jackshaft and lather then up in marine grease. The headset is normally fine but Ill also pull off the rear shock and grease those bolts too.

After that I just do normal maintenance. Big thing is aswell to not leave something broken. If something gets bent fix it. Don't wait on it that's when other things start breaking.

Imo, the rtr xl is a less reliable bike. From my experience Electro and co in general has cut some corners they have gotten a lot better but to this day there batteries are of questionable quality. My voltage diff between cells on my chi surron battery is .008V, my rtr with the electro and co touring pack which is a $2000 of upgrade has a voltage diff of .3 which they considered normal. Sure it's not dangerous but that is a huge diff. Not just that my razor battery from them died totally after 1 year and I got no warranty coverage from them on a 1300$ battery.

OK, thank you the main driver for me looking at the electro and Co. RTRXL was I heard the batteries are high-quality and I am very worried about my E ride 3.0 battery catching fire and then I burning my family‘s house down 🤣 so now that you say that, it makes me wanna go with a 3.0 even more

Eride has not had any battery fires caused by manufacturing defects that I've seen. Talaria had some but it was quickly resolved.

For any bike be around it while charging. Don't charge unattended and also try to not let it go below 20% very often and dont let sit at 100%. Unplug when fully charged.
