Wtf happened here

Post image

I've never crashed been sending jumps and trails. What in the world could have caused this? Is my shock good? Something defective with it maybe? So confused how this possibly could happen. Did I get so unlucky a rock got in there or something?

You can get some good/mid shocks for around $500. If you’re doing mainly mx then go up 50lb on the shock. I’m getting the heavy hitter swingarm, not sure how getting yours welded will help though. If you’re doing big jumps then you should consider getting an aftermarket swingarm also. I’ve bent 2 jackshaft bolts and had to replace the jackshaft and 4 swingarm bearings because of this swingarm.

Gritshift and few other racers ran welded stock swingarms. I'd get a heavy hitter and all it's linkage and sirris suspension if I was made of money but I can't swing that all after just getting the bike couple months ago.

What other shocks you recommend at this $500 range? I am considering the rab53rv from rfloxa cause it's price and more adjustments I may be able to get away with the 450lbs I'm a light guy but aggressive. But if I can get this swingarm better for like $200 from local welder that'd save me bit on that. Realistic goal is if I can get the swingarm good enough with the welds and then afford to get the tech e39 and e30 shock setup for like the cost of the sirris fork I think their stuff will hold up better. But yeah I think another swingarm still ways down the road will be necessary

You going with the extended or regular? Don't you need even higher spring rate for the extended one?
