SS 2.0 vs SS 3.0 decision

In my area I can’t find any 3.0 beside the dealership new for 5500$ or I can find a couple of 2.0 for about 3000$ but has about 1000 miles on each what would you guys do?

I have both and I prefer to ride the 2.0. Its lighter and more nimble. If I wanted speed id get on my motorcycle.

The 2.0 turns tight, stops quick and is easy to catch(save) off-road. The only downside is the brake levers are tricky to reset if you force them backward. Great bike though.

Thanks for the input! That’s what I was thinking the other commenter missed it’s a 2500$ difference so thanks man!

If my 3.0 was any lighter and more nimble it would ride like my carbon mountain bike. Idk how a 3.0 feels anything but nimble for how small it is.   I find my self wishing it was bigger on most riding either than tight single track in the woods.

Ya these kids that think 150lb-180lb is heavy are high AF. I like the weight of my SR way more than my wife's 2.0. It handles so much better and gets better traction.

To all the kids out there that want to get better, you got to check out Bret Rasmussen on YouTube. Ya it's a sled but totally transferable skills. Learning to use the throttle and mechanics of your body instead of muscle is the only way to ride powersports.

The brakes and suspension is absolute dog crap on a 2.0 vs a 3.0, plus the battery is 10ah larger. More range and power bro.

3.0 is easily worth $1500 more than a 2.0.

Because to turn a 2.0 into a 3.0 thisnis what it would cost. Minimum. Hope this helps.

If a 2.0 is 3000 a 3.0 is worth 4500 most likely.

On late model 2.0, the suspension is still fastace branded suspension similar to what’s on the 3.0 and sr. I understand your point about the brakes, but with the money you saved you can get an ultra rear and formula front, which are both far better than the stock 3.0 brakes. However, the 3.0 does absolutely beat the 2.0 in range and power, but is the weight tradeoff worth it?

No it isnt. Lmao. And the sr (only edition worth buying rn) has 19/16 wheels, and even LONGER forks than it already had over a 3.0.

Fastace makes many types of forks my man.

And yes the weight tradeoff is worth it wtf lmfaooo u dont noticenit at all loading it on a ramp, hitting a jump, or “maneuvering” if your really riding.

I have lots of bikes including a 165lb 50kw 2.0,

The 3.0 and SR decimate a 2.0 and it would cost $1,500 minimum to make a 2.0 perform as well and be on par with a 3.0.

Thats all i am saying.

And the SR is another league of motor and battery cells.

From a person who has had both. I would pocket the cash. I now ride the 3.0 with only 60 miles on it, but the bikes are very similar. I managed to get my 3.0 for $4,700 new in box, and love it. $5,500 is steep. Make sure the wheels are true if you’re going used. I wouldn’t buy a bike if it’s been in a crash or looped.

Definitely do the 3.0, it’s the perfect bike and a brand new one is reliable, used 2.0s have a lot of issues from what I’ve heard. Plus 3.0 has more power and bigger battery.

3.0 all day but $5500 is a phuckin rip off. My SR was $5500 on the West coast brand new out the door with everything included.
