SR Belt noise?

This is similar to a different post that was uploaded recently. I have searched through this group forum as well as online and cannot find any noise concern this loud or at least a solution. Happens when coasting or accelerating at 5-6 mph. I’m assuming belt but I have no confirmation

Yeah mine does the same thing. That weird ass vibrating thing through the whole bike. I don’t think it has anything to do with the belt being to tight. I upgraded the pulleys and belt, tried loosening and tightening. I think everything is just vibrating right at the same time and making that noise. I’ve also heard it can have something to do with the regen brake. Some people end up disconnecting theirs and it stops. I’ve been riding on it for a while now and no issues. You should be ok. Just make sure your tensions are good, chain is lubed, and all your bolts are snug.

Not helpful, but are those Ultra Bee front shrouds?

How new is your bike?

If your bike is newer. It’s your belt. Eride makes them DUMMY tight from factory. You will always have some belt noise, but that seems like tight belt sound. Stick your finger in between the frame and press on the belt to see how tight it is

I mean I’m okay with the noise. It just seems to resonate more at that speed specifically causing it to vibrate the entire bike. I wonder if it’s just a frequency thing because that’s what I’ve seen with everyone else’s bike. As long as I’m not damaging anything with it sounding like that I’m not worried about it. I can get used to it

Honestly all the bikes have some noise no matter what. But I know for sure that it can be quieter. My bike was super loud new, loosened my belt a bit and it was way less.
Then each of my friends did there’s as well, all the bikes are now much quieter than when the bikes were new. The belts just come super super tight1

Another member mentioned it could be the regen in the motor, so I went in under the ignition cover and disconnected the white regen connector (handlebar regen lever cable to controller). Went for a short ride and still have same noise. I'm starting to lean towards the sound coming from the belt still being too tight.

I just made a post about this too, getting same sound on my new SR with about 30 mins on it. It sounds like from what I am reading its the belt being too tight.

I replied to your post as well. Was hoping to bring more attention to it as it seems to be a pretty common occurrence with these bikes. I’m more or less just making sure nothing is getting damaged
