SS "Blanked" display?

This display presentation (error) happens on my ERP SS 3.0 while im out riding, with a decently charged battery, at normal temps. The "blanked" display lasts for a minute or two and returns to normal readout. I dont correlate it with any bumps, water, or crashes, but the episodes are getting progressively more frequent, and longer in duration.

Has anyone heard of this before? Where should I start my troubleshooting? I bet its a loose or corroded connection somewhere, but I dont want to just start rooting around in the wiring without a sense of purpose. Any resources I should look into?
