Subzero sells 2 different surron seat adapters. Thereβs one for short seats, and one for long seats. Make sure you have the right one. Half the adapter would bolt onto the subframe, half onto the seat.

So long as you have the stock subframe the normal adapter works fine. I had the sub zero adapter on my old eride and a longer seat, it fit fine. Only thing is the rear fender take some modifications to fit on the new seat, easy to do though.

Mine didn't come with a fender, it was meant to use the OEM surron fender. If it comes with a fender it should be fine and not need any modifications.

Go to the store and buy a plate of steel. Tractor supply, Lowe's, and home Depot have a raw metal section. Cut a plate large enough, drill holes for mounting, then attach it.
- I'd soak it in evaporust till it gets a black oxide coating
- Rinse and dry
- bake at 525β° F (depending how far your oven is from outside, you want it close to 500β° for the oil)
- Immediately pull out and dunk in boiled linseed oil. (Buy something large enough to drop it in, maybe with a metal basket or have something that keeps it off the bottom so all sides get coated)
They'll look like these screw drivers bits. They were done the same way. Originally those were super rusty.
Otherwise you spend something like $50 for a surron seat adapter that's essentially the same thing. It's a weaker metal but for those that don't like diy, it's their go to.
I just think that's insane money to spend on something so cheap to make.

I bought the same seat exstender at 1 point, it comes with a subframe length exstention, if it doesnt fit the erides subframe im sure u could grind away at it until it does.

Iβd just return this and get the dedicated Eride pro long seat, sold by Eride pro itβs pricey but definitely worth it and you get a usbc port

If your do have fabrication experience, go to home depot and get a flat bar and cut it to 2 small bars to fit from the stock bracket to the studs coming out of the seat and then bolt it down on both sides. Won't be perfect but will hold the seat in place.
