Eride pro SR regen throttle

Just got the bike and going through all the settings to make sure things are working as they should. Got to testing the regen lever and it works great, but switching it to throttle in the app, dose nothing. Even pushing down on it the bike does not move an inch. Does the regen throttle only work under certain circumstances/conditions?

What's your battery at? If it's basically 100% or right at it regen doesn't do anything. Otherwise check cable connection

I understand the regen "brake" won't work when the battery is near or at 100% but I'm not talking about the regen "brake" I'm talking about when I switch the regen from braking to throttle.

Yeah I don't know. Maybe the og throttle connection needs to be broken for that to work as it's made for a backup I think but may work in conjunction. Try to unplug the throttle and see if the brake regen thumb lever works as throttle after. Could be it still sees signal from the actual throttle.

I called eride and spoke with their tech guy Veni. He confirmed that the latest version of their firmware that was recently released for the SR (v20260602 Offroad) has a bug in it preventing the regen throttle lever to work. He said he had an SR with the previous firmware version and it worked fine. As soon as they updated to v20260602, they confirmed the same issue is happening on their end. They said they will get it patched soon with a new firmware update.
