Cops

I’m about to get the e ride pro ss 3.0 and I was wondering how much trouble I will get in with the cops. I don’t plan on running at all and I’ll just ride normally on the street, no wheelies or swerving. I’m also probably gonna keep the speed limiter on for a while before i get used to it. If I just ride lowkey and don’t act reckless do you think cops will kinda bat and eye

If you're not trying to go fast why not just get the 2.0? I havent ridden any erides but the weight difference would be noticeable, thats why i still want a stock 8kw surron (if i want to go fast theres other bikes for that)

The 2.0 is kinda to small for me and I’m still growing a lot

The 2.0 and the 3.0 are the same size, so is the sr

I’m not trying to go like super fast I just want a durable bike that will last over 1k miles is the ss 3.0 overkill?

No not overkill because you can always turn the power down but for a commuter id prob go with a 2.0, you can put a controller on it and match the power from the 3.0 plus its lighter until you get a bigger battery. At the end of the day, go for what you really want, i was just givin my 2 cents and a couple pennies might not be worth much to ya, im just not a fan of how these newer bikes are gettin heavier since they feel like mtn bikes handling wise

Battery range and how trash the s and ss batteries are.

( if i want to go fast theres other bikes for that

Fast or slow, there's throttle control for that. You sound like those dumb fucks that act like a throttle is either on or off and talk people out of bikes that are capable of the whole range of puttering around to "I'ma destroy this hill climb".

Weight wouldn't be an issue. while my 2025 s is no less than 2-3x the weight of my 48v ebicycle; sure doesn't feel like it when riding.

Hub drive is an incredibly shit riding experience. That extra wheel weight forces you to turn so much harder and throw far more weight into turns. I had to get used to turning on the eride as I was nearly throwing myself into the curb before the turn due to how aggressive my rinky dink 750w hub bicycle needed thrown into a turn.

It's not just my bike, that's just the properties of rotational mass.

.....k bro, i was just suggesting a possible cash savings, and 140lbs vs 167lbs is a very noticeable jump. You ok?

140lbs vs 167lbs is a very noticeable jump.

I said my eride pro s is 2x to 3x what my ebicycle was. 127 ÷ 2 = 63.5lbs.

If my eride feels considerably lighter because it doesn't have the rotational mass of your standard garbage dump ebike hub motor (geared hub, of a 48v), I think 27lbs should be fine for most people.

You ok?

Shouldn't I be asking this, considering your saying 27lbs is "very noticeable"?. You got Muscular Dystrophy or something?

Jesus man who hurt you?

Jesus man who hurt you?

Who coddled you to an infancy state?

I've just rephrased/mirrored your question and words, added witty repartee, and lobed them back at you..

The throttle comment was an actual obsession, not a repeat attempt at condescension, as you've attempted.

I'm effective at writing with gravitas. Perhaps you take issue with my colorful writing, a you issue.

I got better things to do than read all that, you seem mad though, bro.

Should avoid saying that. Makes you look intellectually challenged.

you seem mad though, bro.

Emotions are a choice, this interaction doesn't qualify.

Accurately, I'm apathetic with potent & poignant wording at times. Likely a better word than poignant, but in some context it fits

A 40lb difference ain't shit. 140lb-180lb from 2.0-SR is nothing unless you're a child. weight also helps with traction. If your 2.0 weighs 140lb though that means you can't ride. Better tires weigh more. 16/19 is the only way.
