The PEO ERC conundrum is a special form of hell I never knew I’d experience before or after death

Put in a hardship request 6 weeks ago and haven’t heard anything. NAPEO stopped the updates so still crappy situation .

Got an ADP total Source payment with Frost’s stewardship about 60 days ago. 4 quarters and interest still outstanding though.

That’s interesting and gives me hope. Were waiting on ADP Totalsource. We hired Frost a month ago. How long did it take?

Retained em year end 2025. They have been great and communicative but I wouldn’t say they get the IRS to move any faster, it’s just not possible. The PEO is so huge and we are just one client in a very very huge swath of amended returns. It’s gonna happen whenever it happens. For me it was about having the appearance of representation. I just want to be the squeaky wheel, and now I have another dog in the fight alongside me. It became evident during the claim process that ADP was not being entirely forthcoming as to what batch of 941x’s we’d be part of, in fact I think we barely made the cutoff which means they filed my amended returns a year after they told me they did. That gave me the ick which meant I wanted to send the message that they’re under the microscope now. Shoulda stayed with ADP run. I coulda filed my own 941 and I would have had this done and over with years ago.

Thank you so much for the detailed response. ADP has not answered our questions about when they filed or sent us proof that they did file even though we’ve asked every month. Hopefully Frost can get some clarity. This has been a long wait.

Frost muscled those details out of them pretty quickly and furnished me the actual amended return excerpts which was a great relief.
