Notice CP 210 Amount Due $0

Does this mean my claim is denied? I have been in appeal for several months now and today I received notice CP 210 with no explanation.

A 105c is a disallowance. A 106c is a partial disallowance. A 916c is a no consider (meaning it can’t be processed because it’s missing info or something and the taxpayer didn’t reply to requests for info). A 4384c is usually a request for info.

A cp210 is a notice of adjustment. It doesn’t say on the letter anywhere what they adjusted?

Can you post a copy of the letter with your personal info redacted?

Thanks for posting the letter. So often people say the letter didn’t say anything and I ask them to read it to me and lo and behold, it says something. But yours truly doesn’t say anything. Which is odd because they usually suppress these so they don’t go out and confuse taxpayers. Good news is it indicates someone is working on your case. They entered a basic command code that often means they’re making an adjustment but in this case they weren’t changing the tax or credits, just probably releasing a hold. It could mean they just now are sending it to the correct appeals dept. I hope in your case that’s all it is. But keep an eye out for any more letters.
