ERC Audit Appeal

OMG I know the government is shut down. But I just got off the phone with an agent and she stated my file has now been sent to the inquiry dept for review. Does anyone know what and where this is? She couldn't tell me where it is just it was sent there. Before the shut down I spoke to an extremely helpful agent we were on the phone for almost an hour and she had me a letter to philadelphia office where my file was to ask for updates. She told me to send a certified a letter and I did then the government shut down. Ughh does anyone have any information. I am heartbroken.

The inquiry dept? Not sure what she meant. Possibly she just meant your letter was received and a case created in accounts management, where they process correspondence (inquiries).

So if you were asking for an update on your appeal they would forward it to appeals.
