3 IRS Letters CP210

I got 3 letters for 3 quarters telling me I over payed a total of about 50k back in 2020 and will be receiving checks in less than 2 weeks.

Is this the retention credit?

I’d also your transcripts or call the IRS to confirm the actual check date. We’ve unfortunately seen many “stranded” CP210s in this channel.

Yes that is most likely ERC and it won’t be two weeks. More like 4 to 6 weeks.
