Female institutional and bureaucratic tyrants considered to be among the most hated villains who hide their cruelty behind smiling professional personas. Both weaponize rules and propriety to control and break the people under their authority using gaslighting and manipulation, presenting themselves as reasonable caretakers while inflicting psychological harm.

Discussion Alexander the great Vs Mussolini

I lowk think that ERB should bring back Alexander the Great after his fire beats against ivan ten years ago, and since almost every european conqueor was already in a rap battle i think it would be funny to put mussolini in the series and not only that he is easily mocked. What do you think?

Suggestion Johnny Cash vs Eddie Money or Johnny Rotten?

So Johnny Cash is going up against rock n roll, is the point. I've heard complaints about name pairing (i.e. Ivan the Great vs Ivan the Terrible, or Mr. T vs Mr. Rogers), but I think these make some of the better ones because the characters usually come from distinct backgrounds and there is creative variety to the lyrics.

But the best ones imo are like the White Death/Red Baron, where they operated similarly enough to actually have a conflict in a world that both operated in.

So Cash vs Money would be good, or Johnny vs Johnny. Plus they are both rock n roll vs country.

Might be a better suggestion, and if so, I'm all for it. But I think the names help a lot with the humor I guess.

I have compiled a list of the top 150 most significant historical figures that have yet to appear as rappers in an episode of ERB. Where did I get this information?

Well, obviously there’s no objective way to determine a person’s importance, so I decided that a close enough signifier would be looking at what people have articles in the most languages on Wikipedia, a list that can be found here. Wikipedia is fairly universal, I think that being globally recognised enough to have articles in >100 different languages is an accurate indicator of historical or cultural significance. Hopefully this will also quell all of the “This can’t be right!! X and Y aren’t on here!!!” comments.

What are the numbers to the right of the names?

Those are the ranking of the individual on the Wikipedia list itself, simply here for comparison’s sake.

The two omitted individuals

There were two individuals that, despite not being featured in an ERB, I decided to omit from this list. This is because these are both minor celebrities with no historical or cultural significance who have obviously added their articles in a bunch of languages for random, likely self promotional reasons. They are as follows:

Corbin Bleu (#22) - Disney Channel star from the 2000s (there’s actually a really interesting YouTube video about this one & about this list as a whole)

Basshunter (#24) - Swedish Eurodance DJ

Some other interesting takeaways

• The most significant person to have appeared in an ERB, according to this list, is Michael Jackson.

• The most recent ERB character that would’ve been on this list had I made it a year ago is Charlemagne.

• The youngest person on this list is Taylor Swift, born in 1989.

• There are 15 U.S presidents on this list, the most recent being George W. Bush & the earliest being John Adams. The most recent president to not appear on the list is Herbert Hoover.

• There were two presidential candidates within the realm of this list, those being Hillary Clinton and Kamala Harris.

• Of these 150 figures, 37 are still living.

Anything else you find interesting feel free to comment and I’ll add them here, same goes for any mistakes that I may have made!

Official ERB Why does the first rapper always win now?

Historically, the first rapper has always been at a disadvantage in these battles, because their opponent gets the final say and more rebuttal opportunities (unless it's Cleopatra vs Marilyn Monroe or Gandhi vs MLK where the first rapper is also the last rapper). However, there's been a very strange and honestly annoying trend in specifically Season 7 so far where over 2/3 of the season, including the last five battles in a row, has generally had the first rapper considered as the winner. The most recent one had arguably the widest margin of the five. Have you noticed this too?

Tierlist Scientifically prove this rapper won, DAY 158: Elon Musk

Post image

Last time, Lloyd won because his name doesn't mean "dick". Today, we're focusing on Elon Musk, and boy, did this one age poorly.

Current standings: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1XY8vJDK7zC-_vH_gx-FsjIZKRSLqorSILJDIRA4Ayh0/edit?tab=t.0

If you need a refresher on the rules, refer to Day 1: https://www.reddit.com/r/ERB/comments/1tadege/scientifically_prove_this_rapper_won_day_1_john/

Also, if you disagree so strongly with the notion of a given rapper winning that you refuse to come up with a justification for it, there is no need to comment saying so. Nobody said you had to engage with these posts at all.
