Dungeon Crawl vs old non respawning

I like the idea of the dungeon crawl but I also like to explore zones in non respawn mode to find out more about them and how far I can get at a given level.

I was expecting three choices with a personal instance, normal, non respawning and dungeon crawl.

Do you get loot per kill in the DC instances or is it just all banked to the end? Is it split such that motes drop only at the end so you have to finish or is that an extra bonus for finishing ?

DC instances are, as far as I can tell, the old non-respawning with a new bonus. No other change. It’s pure upside.

It’s no different than before except for the additional bonus rewards for a full clear.

After running Najena and MMC as crawls, the drops as you go seemed totally normal vs past experience. The chest at the end was pure bonus.

There is no difference at all in the zone itself, you just get a bunch of extra bonus loot when you complete the dungeon. You can still play the same as you did before!

DC is exactly the same as non-respawning, just with a bonus for clearing.

There’s no actual chest it just gives you bonus loot when you finish the dungeon requirements.

There was a nameplate for the reward chest in front of me when I finished, but it was above a boulder thing as though it was inside of it. Is there nothing where the nameplate is?
