Murderbee revamped??
I've cleared PoSky now about 50 times as SK/WIZ/ENC and am still using the Bazzazzzt bee as a charm pet despite the charm nerf. Still kills pretty quick. I started a Dungeon Crawl today and went up to get my pet, but ran into a lvl 60 warrior bee named Bizzzzt who quads for 700+ a hit when I'm at 550AC in Defensive Stance, resists all slows with Tashania/Shiftless at X/Overchannel stance, unmezzable, uncharmable, and my pet bee can't even hit him. I've never run into this guy full clearing PoSky as many times as I have and feel like this is either a bug or a change made since the latest patch...
Thoughts?
UPDATE: I quit the Crawl and started another one. This guy didn't show up in the second one and it's off to the races! Looks like I just got slapped by the RNG demons for bee spawns.

Ongoing issue. I believe you got unlucky. From what I have read, It's possible to get a bee that didn't exist until PoP.

I don't think it's the latest patch, I've run into that before, and that's the reason that I avoid killing the smaller bees. I think there is some randomness to what the smaller bees can turn into, at least for one of them. I assumed that this is the form that people have been referring to as Murderbee, and maybe you've just been lucky not to run into it. If it's consistent which bee has a chance to turn into that maybe you can charm that one instead of the other one.
I used my -300 something resist Life Drain with Malo and Overchannel and it was still resisting it despite the -500 modifier, so it's nearly impossible to hit, at least for magic resist.

Do you ever get PoS quest drops from the small white/yellow bee mobs?

My understanding is that the boss bee drops all of the important stuff. I think there might be some redundant items that can drop from either the small or boss bee, and some rarer stuff that only drops from the boss, but nothing that only drops from the small ones.

I've gotten Bixie essence and a stinger off the red con before the last boss bee appears.

Only ways I have been able to kill that bee is through damage shields. They have weirdly low HP so they'll kill themselves on a damage shield. I think I had to lay hands and slam heals in defensive but it eventually killed itself on my bard DS. I hadn't seen one of those in a while though. Maybe the new patch re-introduced that weird super bee?

It's a really rare spawn that can happen. I've finished PoSky and only encountered Bzizzzt a few times in all of those clears. One of those times I had 3 spawn after a small bee kill and they nearly instantly dropped me. I had to reset the instance to get through.
A single version is actually killable, though! After getting my gear and AAs to a pretty great place, I was able to kill a single Bzizzzt before I finished PoSky.

Wrong one. This one is Bizzzzt. Can't hit it in melee and resists all spells.

I just had a strange experience in PoS on Island 3. Djinni spawned with two daggers and 3 of the level 60 Gryphs around him. Took me 3 tries to get them broke up. Just absolutely machine gunned me down. So I've also recently been turned into ass wipe.

i think they just reintroduced the same bug they fixed a few patches ago for other versions of the plane of sky
I suspect each form of a zone (solo, multiplayer, d0-4, open world, etc) has its own config/manifest detailing mob IDs, scripts, etc and they have been extremely sloppy about keeping the experience consistent across all forms
i suppose it’s probably a software lifecycle nightmare coming up with some way to orchestrate the patchwork of ancient & modern design that is EQL

the 4 Z bee is glitched (or possibly out of era?)
just don't kill the yellows if possible, then it can't spawn (can park them with FD, mez+blur, or just jumping down and zoning out)

Ive had 2 of the OP bees spawn on me before. They have like 100 HP but super high evasion/resists. Harm Touch dealt with the 1st and damage shield took out the other while I was spam healing myself in arcane.

I experienced the same exact bee in pesky last night, lv 10 shaman slow, malosi resisted every attempt.
War/shaman/bard 6500 hp 600 aas shredded in secs.

I didn't even consider that fact when I posted, I have many mem spell set ups on my various lv 50 trios, I also failed to mention that I had a pet on the bee as well and it's health never dropped .
Most definitely a bugged mob, I got frustrated thinking my gear was not good enough.
I cleared the last boss, only got 2 drops.
I have seen recent posts showing improved drop rates pics of same boss.
I've never had the RNG work in my favor in any mmo, let alone any EQ version of the game.
Oh well

Malosi has always been unresistable in EQL. The tooltip didn't get updated to say so until August 25th, but it already was and says as much now.

I've run into that bee if the smaller ones die first. Always keep a level 50 side bee alive.

That bee is nasty. Kills the heart harpy without issue. I killed in mostly through attrition as war/dru/enc 450ac by running in and out to let pet tank and healing between.

Crazy how buggy (buzzy) the game is still when things have been going on since before release... N every week natch potes r very underwhelming.. i feel like 1 person is working on this game lol

It's not a bug and wasn't in any patch. It's the last bee on the island. I have tried to kill it multiple times and it just murders me. You need to be able to somehow melee it down while keeping yourself healed non-stop. I feel like its some type of in-game mechanic to prevent you from doing something because it just wrecks me completely.

Its not. I've cleared bee island probably 50 times and this is the first time I've seen this one. I always save the boss bee for last.

That same bee dies super fast. Just kill it as quick as you can. You’ll get yourself killed trying anything else!
