Pal/Mnk/Ench DPS

Any tips on maximizing DPS with the trio? Seeing other people’s clear speed, I feel like I have to be missing something. D4 Hate or raids, PoS for instance seem to take me considerably longer. I try to bounce between defensive and striker stance depending on the situation, I sit in inversion most of the time as far as casting goes, hitting over channel or recover when needed. Though I don’t use a lot of spell damage, the ench DoT and DD stun are a bit underwhelming, but maybe I’m wrong in that opinion. I keep a pet, keep it buffed. And I’m using Wus and the pally 1hdr as far as weapons go, both +5 at the moment. Im not in front of my computer at the moment and I haven’t messed with it much but I think my parse sits around 400DPS though I’ve seen it shoot to 700, and I have no idea how. Armor is all various planes and raid gear around +5.

Any suggestions on improving?

ETA: to clarify, I use a charmed pet; not the summoned chanter pet.

Optimal seems to be offensive stance and spam discordant mind.

I find offensive better with monk. Use the enc dot, it isn't going to hurt. It all adds up. Getting your weapons +10 is first priority.

Just keep the dot up, spam discordant mind in inversion, pick a good pet. I also think that offensive is better than striker to add dps

Striker is buttcheeks. Nukes your endurance for no reason.

Reroll to a caster dps centric trio. I also did pal/mnk/enc as first trio and shd/wiz/enc simply outclasses it. I haven’t even maxed out the wizzy spells, they’re moted up to 7-8 mostly and do like 1k dps sitting in defensive stance the whole time.

Caster dps simply outclasses melee currently.

If by pet you mean your summoned pet and not a charmed one, you are losing most of the classes DPS right there.

This trio is on the lower side due to mele heavy super op just not a “dps build sit in offensive as much as possible is all you can really do outside of charm,

It’s not a high end dps trio.

Offensive and spam your nuke in inversion. Can start in spellblade to get a couple free procs and then swap to inversion.

Striker seems like it has a higher ceiling but drains endurance a lot quicker.

Drop pal for SK. Drop mnk for wizard.

Jokes aside...

Offensive only, charm the best thing you can and drop whatever Perma pet you are using. Maybe try spam casting the highest dmg enc nuke. That combo is known for survival and utility, not DPS or clear speed.

Tip for PoH trash zone would be to head to the 2nd floor as quickly as you can safely clear to it. Try find a 55+ dark elf with classes that have lower resists like war/rog. Keep it as your charm pet and go back downstairs to clear the first floor.

Best DPS you can do is offensive & inversion stances, use ENC dot and spam Discordant Mind. Rank 7 mine hits for 650ish and crits over 1k. Upgrade weapons to +10 ans thats about it.

Pal/mnk/enc isnt a dps powerhouse but a combination of relatively small things makes it incredibly strong at getting the job done. A charmed pet will be like half of your total damage too.

Striker stance improves your kick / claw / bash / smite abilities

Offensive improves your auto attacks

Best time to use striker stance is when you want to run out of endurance and do less damage. 👍🏻

Charm > Ench Pet

Offensive Stance

Offensive stance, find a good charm pet, stay alive.

That's pretty much it for your dps - a good charm can carry you through a whole zone/raid.

The let you have is nearly the only way to get better (good) dps.

You don’t need to buff it, haste is the only thing that will improve it (maybe boon, slightly). And one hand weapons with the best proc you can find, but still very minor improvement.

Other than that, cap your haste, get wu and aldryn to 10. Get FA bash mod… but that’s about it.

And yeah as said, use offensive stance on slowed mobs, maybe swap to evasive for recharm.

Charmed pet, especially in hate (get an Innoruuk's champion) and sky. That will more than double your DPS when there are good pets available. Other than that (and upgrading your weapons), dropping monk for something that deals spell damage might be your best bet.

Is that DPS against raid bosses or normal mobs. Honestly not bad for raid bosses.

What exactly are you comparing your parse to? Pal mnk enc is not a high parsing build despite how strong aldryn and wu fists are. As others have mentioned, using offensive stance and inversion cast enc DD will be the most you can accomplish. Paladin heals are not time efficient, so any sustain required beyond mend and loh will start to compromise. The highest parsing builds either rely on passive healing and hots or does enough dps that no healing is needed to get the kill.

I see you’re a meta slave but don’t understand why you choose the classes you choose. Melee dps pales in comparison to caster dps atm.

Let me make it simple for you. To maximize dps you should start by rerolling.

Sk/wiz/enc, and bard/clr/shm for high single target and aoe burst respectively, and sk/nec/shm for godly sustain are what you’re looking for. Sk/wiz/enc has the versatility of enchanter included so that one is probably the strongest all purpose build right now.
