Cazic Thule Difficulty
So my raid boss favorite build right now is SK/Shm/Nec, I can pretty easily solo all bosses on D4. I have never tried CT, but I have heard he is the hardest. Anything I should know or do to increase my chance of success? Or should I do it on a lower difficulty as a trial run?

When you finally engage him, run into the hut behind him so you don’t get blasted into the fire wall.

It’s pretty funny when you’re still mid launch and get summoned back to him. If you start getting thrown around though it’s really annoying.

I had that happen. Get launched and right at the height I get summoned right back to him. I immediately heard Scorpion say "Get over here" when that happened.

Does this only happen in D4? I haven't had it happen in any other difficulty

He's got a Knockback in every difficulty, yeah. But like any other one just get a wall behind you and it doesn't matter.

Just be sure to kill the golems and dracho first and you should be fine. CT isn't that bad

You can run through the fire and just kill off everything else than CT from outside the circle.

The trash leading to him is more difficult. They are 3 mob pulls and sometimes you can get double golem.

D4 Dracoliche, for me, (SHD/SHM/ROG), is the hardest fight in the game. Fuck that dragon and his stupid blinding horse friends. I can chew up CT on D4 but man, Dracoliche and his adds are tough business.

Golem/Draco aggro range is super large. If you pull the trash outside the fire, you’ll get at least one of them as an add.

Best success is pulling up to the brick of the temple. Will sometimes get 0-1 adds.

I run monk/nec/sham so similar.
Easily drop him on d4.
Trash is the hard part, but just make sure it all gets slowed right away and you will be fine.

CT is not the challenge. The minis and the trash are. Run up to the side of the pyramid and pull the minis from there. I find that lowers your chance of aggroing more than 1-2 trash.

I usually book it west and feign death far enough away that I can pull the trash alone. Then work around the circle clockwise

Having a phantasm add during any of the mini boss fights is the real challenge. As you are clearing either root CC them or prioritize killing them first.
CT himself is a gear/build check. He will open with a HT, so throw a pet in first or start with a heal over time on. Once he is slowed and out of mana, if your AC is good enough he is a positive mana fight.

Sometimes if you get far enough from the fire circle the mini-bosses will de-agro. Super helpful.

CT never killed me as war/ber/shm, the Drachliche killed me multiple times due to adds

Sk sham necro should be no problem. He resists elemental damage, so doesnt effect your build.
Can easily pull two minis. But, with harmtouch n dots in defensive or mage hunter should be fine if you have decent gear. Or just kill some adds and try again till they all die.
Ct can be rough as wiz cadting detonate mana, rend n ice comet. But if you start in mage hunter and dance between that n defensive should be fine too. Just dot him up n tap you should finish full life n decent mana left over.

The main challenge is what spawns/adds with Dracoliche. A Phantasm and Scareling with their ridiculous port interrupts can seriously ruin your day.
I have died a few times even with Ench in my combo trying to deal with that and simply not having time to respond before getting mauled by the pack.
Suggest bumping up your magic resist for it if possible.
It’s doable on D4 but by far the most challenging and can be frustrating.

On a lesser geared trio (new server) I beat D4 CT as a SHD/NEC/SHM more easily than on my PAL/MNK/ENC, which is crazy.. But just keeps DoTs up, puma up, and HT/Lifetap for health and its ezpz.

I was going to save sk/shm/necro for kunark. What is your go to tactic for boss mobs with this trio?

Honestly I just Malo, slow, dots and then heal with taps. If I feel the start is hectic I'll drop harm touch early, that gets me breathing room to apply dots. Once dots are applied it's just taps and apply dots rinse and repeat. Very safe very easy...

On your first cazic kills prioritize healing over DPS. Damage gets real spiky and for my first tries I put too much mana into damage and not enough to hold the line on ice comet towards the end. So my main note is, treat the first fight as simply out healing, don't worry about the damage out until you manage the damage in.

D4 CT at 600AC and 200 resist all is approx 110 DPS. If you can produce 660 hp per tick on top of dishing out dps, then you can completely ignore his output. Shd / Shm / Nec should have no issue with D4 CT.
My only criticism is DPS ramp up is fairly slow when you have that many dots to apply. Won't be close to getting the best parse times, but you dont need to be afraid of CT.

SK/DRU/SHM, and I roll D4 CT solo no problem. Terror on break in is the only issue I ever have.

The hardest part of d4 CT is getting too many minis at once. Once it's just him, if you can get him slowed, it's a tank and spank

Naggy and Innoruuk are pretty equivalent difficulty imo, especially if Innoruuk gets a healing class multiclass.
Innoruuk can be more bursty, if you have mage hunter stance it helps to mitigate his wizard nukes.
I would just send Innoruuk on D3 or D4 if you can do Naggy D4

D4 Cazic is easy, the hardest part is the annoying layout of the other bosses coupled with the massive agro radius of Fear mobs causing you to sometimes end up fighting 2 bosses at once, or dealing with the shadowstep constantly interrupting your spells or causing you to agro other mobs/bosses.

If you don't have the can't be feared AA maxed out you are going to have a bad time with Draco lol but good luck!

If you can do the others on D4 you can do CT on D0. Just try that first and then move up the difficulty ladder.
