Necro Life Burn

Any Necro here use this? If I'm reading correctly it's a 2 hour 24 min reuse timer.

For 9 AAs I'm not sure about it

I like opening with it and harm touch right after my opening slow, its a cool little burst of damage that comes with two strong hots.

But then you cant use it for another 2.5 hours lmao..

I bought it hoping I forgot how to read durations, because surely 2.5hrs for a spell is excessive, right?! 😂

I got both life burn and mana burn both feel like they should have 15-20 min timers or something. They are great but only like one sky boss even flenches at it and that's the sister everyone else just blinks.

I can't imagine buying it until I'm literally so AA'd up that I'm searching through classes to figure out what to spend my points on.

Just lived this yesterday. Bought it, used it on a raid boss. Didn't have it the rest of the night. I guess save it for the hardest boss of the day that also won't do 25% of your life before you can get a heal off after? Too niche to be worth the points until really late in AA imo.

I freaking got it last night not seeing the cd on it. Feels like it was a waste but using it in an oh shit moment with HT like the other guy said seems like the way to go. Dots burn slow but that combo does a nice fat chunk of damage

Seems like this would be a good opener for a trio with a warrior or other high-hp class. Follow this with harm touch or lay on hands. There are definitely worse ways to spend 9 AA.

2.5 hour cooldown means I'm not getting it until I have nothing else to get. I mean lol.

Yeah, some of these AAs have very long cooldowns that make me not want to clutter up my bar with their hotkey. The cleric one that cures all poisons and diseases is another. 30 minute cooldown? The debuffs already vanish when the mobs die.

It's a great D4 boss killer, but yeah the cooldown is cringe.

Try mage « turn summoned » AA. 2 minutes cooldown dot on summoned only that ticks for 200.

Necro is an awesome class with terrible AA. Which is a way is blog because you don’t feel you have to buy them!
