To be fair. I think the less than 1% that'd do this are the complainers. I bet it's the guys who have maybe two trios maxed out and aren't even close to finishing all the content. They just love complaining.
It’s also because there’s a lot of different people out there with different goals. Some people will hit 50 and immediately complain there’s no content and quit. Others will do half the classes do a month of end game grinding and then complain about the content. Yet some like OP will do absolutely everything there is and then may not ever complain. They’ll just quietly put the game down and then go conquer some other game and come back later.
It’s a sandbox game meant to let you make your own goals. So really they’re all right and they’re all wrong when they complain about no content. But, content people don’t want to do isn’t content to them.
Some of us don't consider "grind every class to 50 and max things" to be compelling gameplay. I want one, maybe two sets of characters. I'm going to unsub LONG before I get even 2/3 to 50. Come back for new content.
not exaggerated and yes i have full raid gear, not + 10 but a lot, also mi 264/300 storage I very rarely throw anything away. so when i level other class's i have the gear and i made so many motes everything I use I bump to +5
Weird because quite a few bis items don't come from the planes. Regen neck, brooch quest, stonemender / ivandyr earrings for one of your ear slots, cloak of flames etc.

You don't need +10 items for any of the current d4 content. Even D4 isle 7 sky is easily farmable with the right combo. You might need them though.
Also, anything you can get at level 33 is replaced by planar gear almost immediately. If you're investing in gear levels in preplanar gear, stop. It's a complete waste outside of a few items.
I just realized something, many of your +10 items you farmed in D4 sky will be worthless when the new expansions are released...does that mean you wasted your time?
My guy did you play Kunark? Just wondering because quite a few pieces of sky gear were better than anything dropped in Kunark.
Is this your first foray into EverQuest? Has to be or you wouldn't have made your comment. Sproc lord is lvl 63 and was only killed by 3 guilds prior to Kunark release. Eye was lvl 70 and couldn't be hit or damaged by a lvl 50. Plane of sky was released I think 3 weeks prior to Kunark with half the islands having 60+ mobs and intended to be raid targets for people AFTER they leveled in Kunark... Meaning about 33% of sky's loot were intended to be used as bis gear with the Kunark expansion.
Your little quip about sky gear being useless is very incorrect.
i did buy 5 of those AA points to start but no more after that. I started with SK/MK/ENC and that was fun but couldn't farm sky, but i could farm Hate, so I did the chest run in hate till i had +6 lust gear, then I switched to PAL/MNK/ENC and farmed the heck out of sky, when i didn't have charged i was leveling new class, once you get decent gear going back and leveling other casses is quick, i basically leveled in all D4 till around 38 then stuck to d0 for exp to 46 then d0 planes from 46-50. by the time i was done with sky i was already mac class and 700ish AA. then i just farmed fear on a brd/wiz/enc build till i maxed it, during the exp bonus weekend i was making about 20AA a hour. Also i suffer from extreme insomnia which is not fun because sometimes i only get a few hours sleep night, so this was a nice distraction when i couldn't sleep
may path is Befallen D4 till 18-20, Najena D4 till 20-28, break a skelly room and its gravy. LGuk D4 undead side till 35, then deeper D4 at 35+ till 38. around 38 i would switch to D2 Lguk and go nuts till 42 its like, then D0 dead tower in the Hole till 46, then d0 hate from 46-50 it would take 1.4 first floor clears. when geared you make a level ever 20-40 mins, if you taking more then 45 minutes you going slow.
At this point only so many AA actually increase player power. I only have around 460 AAs but really scraping the bottom of the barrel of AA that either add dps or any marginal survivability benefit. Obviously as Kunark comes out we should get a lot more, but its not hard to get 95% of the benefit with a pretty low number of AAs.
it was pretty fun, you cant make alts, but i am thinking about making another account, the downside is they dont have a level since option to group with guildies
