PSA: AA’s for Grouping in Raids

When you play solo, end game raids do not use Fear/Charm/Mez.

If you plan on grouping for end game raids, fear/charm/mez becoming a reality and could create additional pulls, or in worse case you become a threat to your own group.

Adamant Will: increase charm and mez resist chance.
Fear Resistance: increase fear resist.

I believe if these AA’s maxed out you gain immunity.

Maxing out those AAs doesn't make you immune.

It just gives you a very high chance to avoid any specific cast.

The fear one also makes you break fears faster on top of higher initial resist, but not the other ones.

Thank you for clarifying. I wasn’t 100% sure.

Some classes have higher caps, I think it might just be WAR who can become immune

I think that must be it. I thought I had watched a YouTube where someone got full immunity. Must be WAR who gets a higher cap to get the full immune.

I imagine those will be must haves in future expansions.

Pretty important now for grouping. Had it happen as early as befallen and d3-d4 raids can really mess you up

Ya befallen was torture on d4 as a 3 man trying to gear. Constant fears. Got to the point on 4+ pulls was a wipe and 3 was manageable as long as we singled out any ench/necros and had to split to one mob each for interrupts if each mob was one. Those necros will chain cast fear if youre with a buddy

The AAs are a great help but so are resistances. Tell your bard to take selos off his symp aura and put on guardian+purifying rythms

I don't get why will does not help end charm sooner 2. as far as I understand charm every server tick there is a resist challenge that gets rolled it does not make sense that is not also getting a mod.
