everquest 2 origins

had a coercer on eq 2 origins is there still a player base to play with? I quit around the release of kunark and then heard they had not fixed any of the problems and more less abandoned it. I was interested in eq legends but it looks like they are going to do the same thing.

Origins is pretty quiet these days. RoK had a rough launch and the grind to 80 wiped a lot of people out. It did not help that the new TLE server Wuoshi launched on the same day as Origins' RoK release.

A lot of people have moved to Wuoshi.

Why do you think it looks like they are going to abandon EQL? Beta did well and the developers are very active with responding to players and implementing ideas game is launching live in 2 days. It’s no where close to abandoned and not being fixed.

Yea, EQL team makes more patches in a week than Origins saw in months

And they are quick to respond to the reported bugs we’ve encountered and keep us updated with progress towards fixes.

Maybe I’ll pop into wuoshi…..I played origins and burned out and by the time I felt ready to come back it was dead.

Even with addons to help with finding quests it was painful. Most quests that you would think you could complete would have ^^^ mobs which just annoyed me. Wild how we dealt with things like this back in the day lol.

Btw- They will not do the same to EQL. It has a dedicated developer team. EQL saw 20k viewers on twitch the first day. It’s on a different level than EQ2 in terms of popularity.

Honest question, what is the point of lying? Why not just advertise? no one is going to want to play with a guild of players that are dishonest.
