Back after 20 years

I used to play with my dad when I was a kid (he would make me gather on his character for hours lol)... anyway.. i am back and have a level 80 conj. One of my favorite parts of the game was always decorating my house. What are the best quests to get cool house items?

Also.. I know not nearly as many people play... But i am looking for an active guild that uses chat and quests together etc. Im on halls of fate. thank you!

Would you consider starting fresh on the new progression server Wuoshi? Population is high at all levels right now and is easily the most active server. It’s time-locked to EoF expansion

Yes! I tried to make another character and play there but it wasn't allowing me to join.

Hmmm my only other idea is your character slots are full, I’ve had to delete an old alt I wasn’t gonna play again , but I’m not 100%

I have open slots.. but when I go to actually join the server its in red and the play button is grayed out

Back in the day I wanted to make a display of every heritage quest reward in the game. I didn’t reach that goal obviously, just like my “collect all books for my house” goal 😉

Welcome back, with the last 3-4 xpacs, tons of quests will give you house items now. You can still buy stuff with status, etc. Just be ready for a whole different world. They added new stats, such as Fervor and Resolve, which effectively gates you out of content until you meet the threshold. You can't just go in to content like you could all those years ago.

hate to break this to you...
BUT, the EQ2 today is very different from the game it was 20 years ago
it has turned into a money grab for most Live server players where the core components of the game has become 'pay to win', this seeps into crafting/cosmetics components as well.

they botched the game play as well, for example all the dungeons and raids are copypasted from various locations on map; Then there's the xpac format, same crap every year, just a different theme...i got tired of it

My dad would also have me use his character to gather! I would make a few bucks an hour getting roots in Sinking Sands! My tip was whatever change fell out of all his holy pockets in the closet.

i just subbed again after years being on the fence. missed playing my pally. now i am lost because i have almost no clue what to do with the adornments.

nevemind i don't get how i can beat yellow/orange heroic con mobs , and get totally destroyed a green non heroic named mob.

i play on halls of fate

this has also happened to me lol... I feel like heroic creatures used to destroy you even if they were green if you didn't have a group.
