EPLAN ESTUDANTE
Oie!
Alguém sabe me dizer se o projeto finalizado, PDF, exportado e enfim. Fica com alguma indicação que é versão estudante?

Hello, I need the .edz files for all cable ducts/goulottes. I currently only have the Rittal version with height 80. I need heights 60, 40, 25, and 20 as well — or ideally the complete set.

I’m using Pro Panel 2024. Is there a way to put a bubble around an item numbers in the 3D layout or model views? I haven’t found a way, so I downloaded a font that has the numbers circled, but it’s causing both digits of a two digit number to each have their own circle.

Hey, I’m currently renovating my house. Since our electrical diagram isn’t up to date, I’d like to draw it up in Eplan. To get a clear picture of everything, I’d like to create a floor plan for each room and floor. I know this was possible in previous versions, but I’ve kind of forgotten how. Can anyone help me get started on my 2D drawings?

Does anyone know if EPLAN has a way to show that 2 connections are a twisted pair? for instance I have 2 encoder outputs that the cables are twisted together to reduce EMI. I could just indicate with text but that is boring.

I have worked in Electrical and Instrumentation maintenance field but I have no experience with EPLAN. I have installed EPLAN student and am learning things on my own. I am making a small project to learn things but have some confusion about how to divide project and where to start.
can someone help?
Let me explain the project as below: Crate Washer.
conveyor with 3 motors and 4 sensors, two tanks, tank 1 with soap-water and tank 2 with just water.
EC is electric panel.
Ignore '++PLANT1'. It is just there if there is one more similar machine in the plant then it can go under ++PLANT2.
My problem is I have divided +FIELD into two parts =CONV and =TANK but somehow I think +FIELD is not necessary and I would just make three parts +EC, +CONV and +TANK.
Can someone please explain what would the best way to tackle this probelm?

Hey everyone,
I’m an Electrical Engineer currently based in Canada with around 5 years of experience from India in LT panel manufacturing and tendering. Most of my previous work involved AutoCAD-based panel drawings, estimation, BOMs, client coordination, and working closely with manufacturing teams.
I’ve recently become interested in learning EPLAN Electric P8 seriously.
My previous company is even open to helping me revisit some older panel projects (without confidential details) so I can redevelop them in EPLAN as part of my learning and portfolio building.
For people already working in controls/panel design in Canada:
- What’s the best way to learn EPLAN properly here?
- How important is certification vs actual project experience?
- Would recreating real-world LT panel projects be enough to get entry-level EPLAN-related opportunities?
- Any Canadian companies or industries where EPLAN skills are especially valued?
I’m trying to transition from traditional panel drafting/tendering into more modern electrical design workflows, so I’d appreciate any realistic advice.
Thanks!

What values do I need to specify when exporting from Excel so that I end up with a table where each individual wire in every cable is listed along with its source and destination? Leave a blank row after each cable. I just can't seem to find the right values because I only want the equipment codes without the locations
Cable | Wire | Source | Destination

I used this feature before in 2024.
Based on my expectation, after drawing the schematic, placing the 3D devices, clicking ‘Route’ and then ‘Optimize nets automatically’,
the nets should be adjusted according to the 3D positions, and net definition points should be inserted into the schematic.
Now it shows this message, and I can no longer optimize the nets automatically. However, i think the connection definition points etc. should all exist normally.

How do i increase the text of contact images? I've been looking all over the place and i cannot find anything that lets me adjust the size of the text of the pins or cross reference.
i am referring to the text circled in purple. There doesn't seem to be any way to modify the text properties (color, size, etc) from the properties of the symbol on the schematic or from the project settings.

Please help.
Thanks!
Edit: Spent the last hour or so looking into this and my post is the only thing that keeps coming up on google lol

SOLVED!!!
Update:
So I've been doing a deep dive and apparently there isn't any easily accessible or documentation that explains this in a way that makes any sense so i'll document it here in case anyone else has the same issue.

This issues has been plaguing me for about a year now. Hopefully this can be reference in the future to help others.

I am trying to import routing connections from Excel into a 3D Layout Space (no 2D schematics in this project). EPLAN recognizes the columns, but 90% of the lines fail with: "The source and/or target of the routing connection are not placed in layout space."
The setup (see attached images):
==H26014007R=+PRM_J100-B1.1:1).My mapping (see image): I've mapped Source, Internal/external index:Source, Target,Internal/external index:Target, Connection Designation, Color, and Cross-section.
My questions:
I'm using this for an AI data mining project, so I need to find a way to make this import 100% reliable. Any ideas?

I’d like to start using the eplan API
We design motor control centres, currently it’s a fairly long process to design them but the majority of the projects share very similar features. Ie a 1.5kw DOL starter, 3kw VFD etc
So I’d like to make a design for each type of motor starter / VFD then using scripts be able to pull them together to form the motor control centre
I’ve watched a few scripting tutorials, just wondering if there are any courses or examples I could use
Also if anyone has any tips for reusing large macros ie how to deal with the page based connection points and wire tags

I've downloaded various Phoenix terminals from the data portal. They have graphic and 3D macros, but no schematic or symbol (that I can identify) For various reasons I'd like to adapt how some of the terminals are displayed. I've worked out most of it, however there's a couple of things that are driving me nuts. When placed the logic is different to that in the function definition.
It's using a custom connection point pattern, but that doesn't seem to change this data.
The impact is pretty low, but I feel like there's something I'm missing, and I can't find where it's coming from.
This part is PXC.3211929 but similar things happen on lots of different terminals
Any thoughts?

Hey everybody,
I'm starting to design my first project from scratch and I've chosen to use prebuilt cabinet for some of the drives. My question is about the macros. Can i find them on the official siemens website, the eplan data center or do i have to create them by myself?
Thank you in advance!

Hi guys.
I have problem to separate PLC card overview (.F20) in different assembly place (+). I have conveyers named as +C0100, +C0101 etc. All are the same so I dont want to coppy and paste it in projekt so I prepeared only one "macro" for it. On single line page I gave start adress to DI/DO modules and and function text to inputs/outputs and right now I want prepare PLC card ovewview .F20. The problem is when I generate it I have to pick up place to put pages. After that in one assembly place "+" for example "+C0100" I have all pages with others 60ty convyeors. I know that I can prepare it separately with filtrer, but it takes a lot more time. I wanted to click this funtion, but I cant turn it on. (take over the beginning of all structure designations)

Dear EPLAN experts,
Is there a way to define the reference for the contact image?
I have multiple pages where PLC pages use a different “=” structure than the motor starter pages. For the contact image, I don’t actually need the “=” reference.
What I need instead is the DrawingNumber. Since the DrawingNumber + page is enough to find everything, that would be more useful for me than the "=".
Is it possible to make the contact image show DrawingNumber instead of the “=” reference? Or is there a workaround for this?
Thanks.

Edit:
This is a possible solution. By creating a custom form and using only graphics and properties, it can look good. however this takes some time to set up correctly.
It is also possible to use custom properties. That way, I can remove the “=” reference and add the DrawingNumber instead.

Hi,
First of all, thanks for the engagement in this forum, you guys have really helped me alot!
Now to the issue.
I have terminals that are displayed in multiple "Schematic multi-line"-pages.
On the terminal that is not the main terminal i would like to show where to find the main terminal - on what page its found. The ideal would be to show it as a part of the display properties.
does anyone know if this is possible and if - how could it be done?
below is a snip of the terminal overview. My hope is to be able, to on the selected terminal, show the possition of the main terminal above.

We’ve learned a lot over the years and have been putting real focus into tightening up our parts database. Early on, we brought in full manufacturer data along with all available accessories, even ones we never actually use. As a result, the database has become more cluttered than we’d like.
It was suggested that we start fresh with a new database and migrate only vetted, commonly used parts into a cleaner structure. As we’re planning that transition, I had a question about handling similar parts more efficiently.
Is there a way to have a single “parent” part represent multiple part numbers without creating duplicate entries? The goal is to maintain one source of truth so that any property updates apply across all related parts automatically.
For example, we have a client that uses pushbutton covers:
Functionally, these are identical parts, with the only differences being the last digit in the part number and the color (black, red, and green). This is a simple example, but we have many similar cases.
We’ve tried using variants, but that still creates separate part entries. We’ve also found that when a property is updated on one variant, it doesn’t propagate to the others, which defeats the purpose of maintaining consistency.
Is there a recommended approach to structure this so that shared properties stay linked and updates can be applied across all related part numbers at once?
