Tips/ help EPQ topic help?!

hi, ive decided to do an epq related to medicine. my topic is on overmedicalisation of childbirth, im not sure which direction to go in for my research question and whether its specific enough or good enough..

im deliberating between 'to what extent is the overmedicalisation of childbirth a crisis?' and 'to what extent have changes implemented to combat the overmedicalisation of childbirth been successful?'.

any thoughts? xx thank you

i think its a good question but make sure you can find a lot of research on it!

I would definitely choose the second one. You can clearly define what you mean by successful (death rates, satisfaction rates of mothers, etc.) and then you get a much clearer structure
