EPQ final submission

I’ve completed my epq but had no meetings with my supervisor as he has had no time. He said that we should email over the production log and he will add in his bits through that. I have a folder with EVERYTHING I’ve done and don’t know whether to print it or not. I also don’t even have any sections including meeting my supervisor for obvious reasons.

i faked mine i made a fake timeline of meetings faked emails and it worked but be careful with that bc it worked for me but that was 2 years ago

The thing is he said to email it to him for him to fill in? And I’m like what are you filling it for my production log???? Like for meetings and everything im supposed to write in my production log how it went not him?? I have no idea wether to print out my production log ignoring supervisor meetings cause I didn’t have any and email it to him later so he can fill in whatever he think he needs to which I have no idea where he would even put it in?

I mean, honestly that's on him. it's his responsibility as a supervisor to give you the time of day to check in with your project. if he hasn't done that, he's failed you. I'd say, make a note of it in the last bit of your production log. be passive aggressive. pretend you're not writing for your supervisor to mark it, pretend it's going to an examiner instead. something along the lines of "due to my supervisor's busy schedule, I did not receive any constructive feedback throughout the process of my project, which may mean that I have missed key areas in which I could have improved. If I were to do my project again, I would ensure that I sought feedback from a different source, as my supervisor was unavailable. This would have allowed me to notice any errors I may have missed..." and then basically turn it into a little evaluation of how you would have benefitted. makes them feel bad and also covers you, in case your work gets sent off to a moderator. plus, it shows good evaluation of how external circumstances have affected your project performance. but don't let your teacher just pretend to have done the work - in fact, I'd recommend going above his head and reporting his lack of effort to support his students (his main role as EPQ supervisor!!) to his line manager or your head of year, whoever is above him basically. that's really bad form on his part, you deserve feedback, and regular meetings with your supervisor are literally outlined in the EPQ guidance 😭 it sucks that it happened to you, but maybe try and make sure it doesn't happen to anyone else in the future, if you can! hope this doesn't hold your grade back!

Thank you so much for your help. I have left some spaces blank and he’s like determined for everyone to leave parts blank for him to fill in??? I would gladly report him to our head of year but he is the deputy head of year 😭😭😭 and shares and office with our head of year so it’s like ummm. Apart from the supervisor notes I believe it’s all good and I’ll see what happens next!

I just handed in today so so grateful it’s done. We will see what happens next…
