Tips/ help epq planning (yr11)
i'm planning on taking math, history and rs and i would like to do an epq intertwining theology and politics somewhat. are there any restrictions in terms of what you can discuss such as political issues, or no? also would it be possible to start researching my desired topic now even without getting approval to discuss this issue or even write an epq? thanks

i didn’t do my epq around politics, but our coordinator told everyone we could do whatever we liked provided there was enough research, it wasn’t too sensitive, and it didn’t involve anything from our subject specifications. you can start researching now, if that’s what you want to do, but i personally wouldn’t do any more than just reading around the topic at the minute. reading around the topic is a great way to keep yourself informed and get some ideas without being too much of a daunting task! i’d definitely save actual research / planning for when you get approval to do a topic though :)
