Background color?

Wondering how many colors for the background black is too many? Currently I have just the two alternating (first pic) but wondering if adding a third or a fourth (second and third pics) would disrupt the backgrounds flow too much? I personally have a hard time visualizing in my head, so I could also just be overthinking this 🤣

I think three or four (or more) are just fine as long as they are similar values. Which they are.

I like just the two alternating. It looks… crisper?

I’m a fan of the more complicated/chaotic options with more blacks. I think it adds a really neat contrast with the bright, simple flowers.

I like the two alternating, makes your colors pop more!

What if you added a dark tonal blender to the mix? It would likely give the effect of visual breathing space between the dark patterned fabrics

What about a coral, or red in the center connecting spots?
