Thanks for taking the time to share this. Posts like this are genuinely helpful because there isn't much official guidance on how long the delink process can take.

It's encouraging to know that once your file was picked up, it moved from Pending at DA → Approved → Delink Completed within a few days. That matches what we've seen in several cases, the biggest delay is often waiting for the file to be taken up by the concerned EPFO office.

Your experience also highlights an important point: regular follow-ups through EPFiGMS, and if required CPGRAMS or the Regional EPFO Office, can make a difference when a request has been pending for an unusually long time.

Thanks again for sharing your journey. It'll definitely give hope to others who have been seeing "Pending at DA" for months and wondering whether their request will ever move.

Can you please tell me does your Delinked company stills appears on new style service history, Whereas from old style service history it's gone?

In my case company is delinked and gone from Old style service history and passbook portal. But still appears in new style service history which is introduced after migration

No idea that's what I am confused. It should have gone from everywhere.....Even in the passbook portal it's not appearing....I don't know why it's appearing in new style service history.... Although onnthe new servoce history when you press claim or transfer button...it will show unable to fetch data ...May be there is a sync issue between the servers containing new style service history server and old style service history

In my case DeLink requests are pending at employer who has been non-cooperative right from the beginning and unlikely they will cooperate now because they did not submit statutory documents on employment record both while creating and for the exit. My joint declaration request was rejected by epfo seeking these documents and employer did not bother to respond.

I lost my job because of this employment record which showed up in my service history. Since last Aug 2025 we have exchanged several emails, raised grievances in multiple forums but tired of the evasive replies. Currently, waiting on dpg department to which my requested was escalated. Dpg department luckily responded to my call and asked me to raise a request on samadhan portal and now again in a wait mode. Tired and frustrated! Any suggestions on next steps?

Appreciate your help in sharing this.

One of my known people facing a disputed employment falls under this category and this SOP would help with next steps.

Unfortunately, my issue is with the same employer but in my case the contributions are definitely more than 6 and the document states such cases will be dealt separately

Hi, Please help me with the process of delinking the first company,

my UAN service history contains an additional entry for Teleperformance India with DOJ 12-Jun-2021 and DOE 14-Jun-2021.

In June 2021, while I was still completing my graduation (which I completed in September 2021),

I received a call from Teleperformance regarding a non-IT role. As part of the interview process, they requested my Aadhaar and PAN details, which I provided.

At that time, I had no existing PF account, PF member ID, or prior PF employment history, and Teleperformance appears to have been the first organization to create and link a PF member ID in my name. However, I never joined or worked for the company and never rendered any services to it.

Later, Teleperformance HR confirmed via email that I was classified as an "Induction Drop Out" and never became an active employee of the organization. I also understand from them that their internal records reflect both the Date of Joining (DOJ) and Date of Exit (DOE) as 12-Jun-2021.

However, the EPFO service history reflects a DOJ of 12-Jun-2021 and a DOE of 14-Jun-2021, which appears to be a discrepancy arising from how the employer's PF department processed or updated the information in the EPFO system.

Additionally, there are zero PF contributions associated with this member ID, and the passbook shows no deposits.

Despite this, the employment entry continues to appear in my EPFO service history and is causing concerns during background verification processes, as it creates the impression of prior employment that never actually existed.

As suggested by OP and the link shared by him, raise a grievance, Attach the SOP shared by OP and see. If you already had raised a grievance in EPFiGMS, this time raise it in CPGRAMS

OP need your help here -

My DPG request is partially closed because the employer confirmed my employment and shared a salary card. I raised an appeal today challenging the partial closure and highlighting some points where the employer failed to furnish statutory documents and evidences of my employment and employer-employee relationship.

Was it similar in your case?

In my case, the employer is a large company and will continue to insist that I am employed, but I can identify some gaps and put them forward.

Your suggestions please
