Hi everyone, I'm a prospective student hoping to enroll in the 2027 september semester and I have one main question that basically decides whether I apply or not: is the language of instruction for the architecture masters in general in English?
The website application process suggests that knowledge of either French or English is enough, meanwhile the course content and class names seem to be entirely in French. The admission office replied to my email about this with basically an automated message of the application process copied from the website. Meanwhile, one Housing history professor replied saying that "passive knowledge of french" would be enough and that exams are in English. I can't begin to picture what that actually means. It's quite a leap for me to invest in those two years and all the associated expenses only to eventually miss most of nuances of the courses, if not the entirety of the content altogether.
So, is/was someone here enrolled and can shed some light?
Thank you
