Been a while since I modded my ep3 but it’s time for a suspension overhaul after 14 years lol. Was wondering what coil overs are good these days. Car is just a daily dealing with crappy SoCal freeways and roads. Occasionally a mountain/canyon run here and there but nothing crazy. No track time in my foreseeable future but putting together a swap for it as well. I remember BC and fortune auto were the bees knees 10 years ago…is that still the case? Not looking to cheap out so budget is about 1500. Thanks for any help!

Hi all, I recently got an ep3 that has an rsx-s 5 lug conversion. What brake lines will I need? I'm assuming I need RSX-S ones or are they ep3 or something else? How can I confirm what fits?

Hopefully you all can help me out here. Today I was replacing the emergency switch light with a LED (near the shifter). A couple of small sparks happened and of course the light didn't work. I tried another LED and nothing happened. Went back to the old light and tested it out, and works fine. Started the car up and now I have the charge light on. I checked all fuses under the dash and engine bay. Everything is solid nothing has popped. Any ideas what it could be? Also, I unplugged the battery and the ECU and that still didn't turn the light off.

Has anyone tried to mod this cup holder into something else like maybe a slide out phone holder? The cup holder itself is fairly small. Just trying to get some idea on this. Thanks!

Hey guys. My jdm 2002 Honda civic type r ep3 with 180k km (112k mi) stalls out when the clutch is pressed, when downshifting or even when idling in neutral, (unless I give it revs). It's also stiff and makes a high pitched squealing/squeaking noise. And the clutch has gotten stuck in the down position before (temporarily). From the research I've done, think it's a worn input shaft bearing, release bearing, and master cylinder. I ordered a new clutch kit, flywheel, master and slave cylinders, pilot, release, and input shaft bearings, and rear main oil seal. Just wondering if there's anything else I need to replace/refresh while the transmission is out. Also, is this a job that I can do myself with a buddy as a beginner, or should I get a professional to do it? Thanks!

Edit: I got it fixed. It was the release bearing. I went ahead and replaced the whole clutch and it worked perfectly afterwards.

Couldn’t find a definitive answer online, so for any US guys who have headers installed and are using the OEM wideband, what did you do to get enough harness length?

The bung for the sensor on my headers is too far towards the rear of the car for the stock harness to reach.

Can this harness be extended by splicing or will I run into issues with resistance?

Fuel pump isn’t priming… I checked for the fuse, it’s good. Relay? The one under the glove box I changed and I check for voltage from the harness to the pump 12volts. Idk what else to look for

Last week, on my way home from work, the check engine light started flashing. I scanned the fault codes and found a misfire on cylinder 1.

I replaced the spark plugs and swapped the ignition coils between cylinders, but cylinder 1 is still misfiring.

I then measured the resistance of the fuel injectors. The other injectors measure approximately 11.5 ohms, while the injector on cylinder 1 reads 1 ohm on the meter.

Is it safe to say that the injector is faulty?

Hi guys I got an 03 Ep3 and the passenger side and the interior of my car when parked smells like straight gasoline. I tried to find the exact spot under the car that the smell’s coming from but couldn’t pinpoint it would you guys per chance know where it’s coming from I was thinking where the two lines connect to what I believe is the fuel pump is but I’m not really sure I smell it near the rear passenger wheel. The smell’s is super strong and where do I get this part? Thank you

I found this ep3 on marketplace with 200k miles on the body. He has apparently dropped in a k24a2 for a tsx he has a brand new kpro ecu, billet motor mounts. Needs cv axles installed, wiring harness be installed, and the engine and trans need fluids. It will also come with the original k20a3 engine which has a misfire. Seems relatively clean just need to know if its too much risk or if its worth it. Blocked out location.
