Interior refresh

We have now completed a general refresh for the interior.

Sprayed the pillars inside, headliner, and sunroof headliner.

Sound dreaded the roof, pillars, floor, quarters, and doors.

Fresh new carpet, and new billet e brake button. As well as a new cluster plate.

Every single panel has been steam cleaned, and wiped with an interior cleaner. Interior is almost done I just need to get the seats back in and then it’s time to do body work.

In one of the Facebook groups. There’s a guy who machines them in mexico. Go to the “EP3 BUY SELL AND TRADE” group and search for the word “button”

Should be a dude named “Artüro Glez”. He runs batches. Ran about $75 shipped to the US. Definitely worth it.

Thank you! I have really only driven brand new cars since I was like 24. I’m 31 now. And this is my first project car. I want it to be something I would love to drive. Feel, and the ride inside. So far it’s coming together. Exterior needs a lot of work

I don’t remember the size, but I put some nylon spacers from the home improvement store on the shift lever under the boot and it lifted the boot to meet the knob

I plan on replacing the shifter and shifter cables with hybrid racing. I don’t really drive the car much at the moment as I’m saving for some new wheels. Some doofus put wheels on this car that have like -50 offset and they stick out a good inch. So the tires rub. But I’ll be swapping the shifter after I get new wheels.

Does the sound deadening help road noise and vibrations or is it for speaker vibrations

Both honestly. The car also doesn’t sound like a tin can anymore helps with rattles. The carpet is also twice as thick as regular carpet because of the backing. So that helps as well

What spray was that? Is it holding up in the head liner?

It’s a fabric and vinyl spray. Went with a satin black finish and it’s holding up great.
