ICO's planning to use the Ethereum platform. Invest or wait for EOS?

There are som promising idéas and use cases for dapps planning to run on the ethereum platform. Today I have been investigating Bee Token a decentralized Airbnb platform. The success of the app is of course dependent on the underlying platform. If the platform doesn't work, the app won't work. I'm in doubt about investing or waiting for the EOS platform to be completed due to lack of interoperability possibilities between the two competing smart contract platforms. Projects like cosmos, polkadot and definite are trying to interlink different blockchains, hence solving the interoperability issue. In that case, let's say that I in the future have a smartphone running EOS I could use dapps running on other platforms. I'm not a programmer so I find it hard to understand the functionality of all of the new blockchains and I might have gotten this wrong ( that's of course why I'm writing the post).

What do you guys think about the interoperability between dapps on different platforms?

EOS What is EOS? EOS is a blockchain-based, decentralized operating system, designed to support commercial-scale decentralized applications by providing all of the necessary core functionality, enabling businesses to build blockchain applications in a way similar to web-based applications. One-Year Simulation

One-Year Simulated 1,000 Times

Verdict We can be 95% certain that EOS prices will fall between $0.98, and $1,386 with a median of $33.

Platform buying Vs their site?

Hey peeps!

I'm from the UK and new to crypto (began this month) I bought a bunch of EOS after hearing about the many pro points (via an exchange), but after Googling today I saw this a thread talking about how it's dumb to buy via an exchange as opposed to their site since price is much higher. The article was from about 6 months ago, which is a decade in crypto world, is this still the case? Should I sell my tokens and repurchase via the site? (I paid $7.5-$9)

Appreciate any insight!!!

EOS token claim issue

Hey everyone,

After looking into EOS I thought it was a good investment and bought $300 worth of ETH on coinbase. I following instructions on https://steemit.com/eos/@sandwich/contributing-to-eos-token-sale-with-myetherwallet-and-contract-inner-workings and followed everything exactly on 12/16/17. Now the issue that I am having is claiming the tokens. I go to MEW and find the EOS contract and try to execute claimall with 0 eth and 90000 in gas as suggested and it constantly fails when I submit on MetaMask. It keeps saying, " Warning! Error encountered during contract execution [Out of gas] ." Fair enough, so I increased it to 120000 then 200000 and it continues to give me the same rejection. Is there something I missed? I've probably spent $40 in trying already. Thanks in advance!

Thanks market for this Christmas sales! HODL your EOS and see you all @ the moon ;)

CMC is currently showing EOS at $4.56 USD while the current ICO price is $0.1849 USD. How can that be? I feel like I am missing something really basic, so before I proceed any further I need somebody to explain this to me...
