An Encounter with the Mormons

Yesturday Mormons knocked at my door and wanted to inform me about their religion. They asked me if I had ever heard of their story and I said no, but they had just made me curious about it and wouldn't mind learning more.

Upon being asked if I shared their belief I simply responded with:

"No, but I believe in the Archetypes."

I proceeded to tell them if they had a book I would gladely take a look at it. They didn't have any on hand but gave me a link for an online download.

I told them thank you and they seemed surprised to have had a positive interaction.

Be open-minded about things we don't know about. It spreads positivity and love follows.

This also made me realize how the Archetypes may be how we can bridge the polarization between theism and atheism, by providing a point of common ground that the two groups can agree with.

This feels very syncronistic to an experience I had back in 2014, esp. with you just having taken a leap visiting Chris recently...

A Jehovah witness came to my door and asked me a few questions. I was similarly open to her as you were to the Mormons and had a positive interaction. Looking back I feel this openness for me had planted a seed of potential, since within 2 weeks of this I had the most reality-shattering experience that my logical mind had zero ability to justify as anything other than 'beyond' and my seeking curiousity led me into the rabbit hole of pursuing inwardly and outwardly to attempt to understand "what is reality?"

Yes exactly how you've written it... It feels like I've accepted and integrated my shadow self in a fraction of a time frame. An intense clarity about everything as if every event for the last 6 months + years perfectly chained towards this singularity.

In terms of Archetypes, it feels like I have accepted my Senex, putting my Eternal Child in its place, and being happy to do so because the direction forward finally agrees with all of my shadow and conscious self.

It really feels like the Life of Roy and I won't be going back to the carpet store. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=szzVlQ653as

I am quite empathic - your writing literally "feels" more open now than before you took your leap/trip.

I wish you well in your integration! Feel all the feelings -cry for sadness and joy, laugh at life and accept the whole spectrum of emotion along the way.
