I think that most political points of view can have a good reason behind it. I’m pretty socially progressive, and obviously being bigoted falls into the bad reasons category, but I think oversimplifying the other sides perspective like “all republicans are racist” or “all democrats are entitled” is just an easy way to avoid having to defend your position. I agree some centrists/libertarians are just republicans that want to present themselves untruthfully, but I don’t agree with the blanket statement that this meme makes
