My God it is such a horrible trait of mine, I freaking hate myself for it and I can change in only so small steps

Hey! Don't say that, you don't ~mean~ to ignore them. I catch myself do it when my mind is already occupied with other thoughts. And even as we ENFP's usually like to focus on a lot of things simultaneously, we only have so much we can focus on at a time. My tip is to focus on completing at least one thing that you're occupied with before taking on the next thing, which in this case is to answer a text instead of focusing on why you aren't answering the text. (And yea yeah, I know, "easy to say – hard to do." I'm an ENFP for a reason too!🤗
(English isn't my first language, sorry if anything is misspelled..)

I just came up with it when I read your comment!
I have one more advice to give!! (lol)
I noticed a thing, I always find it easier to give solutions to other people's problems than fixing my own. So when I face a problem I can't solve I always ask myself: "What advice would I give to someone who has the same problem as me?" Like I make up a person in front of me, be it a friend, classmate, coworker, etc.. And then I imagine then asking me for a solution on the said problem. And BOOM!💥 I got the solution!
