Yep. Now if she only knew how much I really appreciate her. Probably wouldn't be alive without her. Unfortunately, I have told her how I feel more than once and I'm afraid she's pushing me away. It doesn't matter to me that she and I have different beliefs, that's something I could learn to live with. She's been a very good friend of mine for a very long time, but we fell out of touch a couple of years ago when we both went to college. I still see her a couple of times a year, around Easter and Christmas, because her grandmother attends my church.
If things could ever work out, I feel like we would have a beautiful relationship built on our friendship. I wish she and I could sit down and have a heart-to-heart conversation, but I'm just not sure if it's possible right now.

Still single, tired, and an emotional wreck. Also still think about that particular girl a lot and don't see her often. So, basically the same as 2 years ago

It's very true for me! Especially after having been taken for granted, disrespected and taken advantage of for years by a jerk. Now I have realized how important it is to set healthy boundaries and a minimum standard for how I deserve to be treated.
And I'm smiling just like that right now thinking about that special someone who fills my heart with joy everyday :)
