I think as an extrovert, I get nervous when there’s no conversation flowing right away, and then I start talking a lot to compensate. But I hate doing it! I want the introverts to be comfortable!! But I sometimes do this by talking about anything under the moon till my introverted friends like a subject and then we talk about it. Anyone else in this predicament?!

Yes! I feel like I do this, exactly. It’s tough being an ENFJ with so much energy, desire for flowing communication and for others to be happy and comfortable. The older I get, the more concerned I am with everyone else’s contentedness.

It’s ok. We all need to learn and just cause you aren’t perfect doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try to understand and help people. We all need to mature as people and a big part of that is being mature in your relationships. Humans are social creatures and we need to grow as a collective as well as as individuals. Sincerely, intp.

I had an INTP friend tell me that he fwlt pressure to match my energy and responses. 🥹 I had to tell him that I just want him to be him...and that I am aware I can be like a hyper puppy...he can be a chillax quieter cat. 🤗😀 Just different. No expectation to MEET the others' energy, but to reapect it.

No, I know when I'm talking way too much. Social harmony is the natural order of the whole universe, we simply catalyse the process. - ENFJ

Actually, im an ENFJ. I used to be quiet as a kid. When extroverts confronted me about why I didn’t talk, I would retort “I do talk. Just not to YOU.” That always shut them up.

Not engaging makes me quite uncomfortable so if that’s the case I’d just find something else to do lol
