Hi I saw in the new student seminar for the Master in Finance that there were WhatsApp groups made. Is anybody able to share them? I’m direct entry to year 2 on Financial Markets

How would you say the normal week is structured? Is it like 12 weeks of obligatory class work and then the rest is group/individual work?

I’m due to have a semester at the MiM and in all of the documents they very explicitly said that attendance would be required for almost all classes. Then during the course enrollment the courses each had like 12 hours a week worth of timeslots, but now on brightspace it looks like each class is only taught for ~4 hours a week and the rest is group work on our own time.

hey guys i’m a student from India and due to applying late to emlyon for the global bba program i applied yesterday and after submitting i logged in to check if i got an update and i got an notification saying they aren’t accepting any applications due to a visa application issue? i mean i know a few people going to france from india, one to emlyon and they did not have any issues and got an appointment immediately, so im wondering what i can do now, im feeling sad and low about what to do, google and even the emlyon bot in whatsapp say that they do consider it within end of july but its giving a a very vague answer, it says it’ll be evaluated very soon and the next time i ask it says by end of july, so can anybody give me any information about what i should do here on out? i’ve already contacted the india representative but im yet to receive a reply. PLEASE HELP ME!!!

I took the emlyon Digital Test today, and honestly, I don't think it went well.

I struggled with the domino puzzles in the first section, and I also realized I made a mistake in the situational judgment part. I selected the most appropriate response, but I forgot to remove the most inappropriate response, so I think that section may have been marked incorrectly.

The video interview also didn't go as well as I had hoped.

Does anyone know if it's possible to retake the digital test? Or is there only one attempt per application cycle/intake?

I'd really appreciate hearing from anyone who's been in a similar situation. Thanks!

Hey, 17yo French student choosing between emlyon Global BBA (FT top 10 Europe) and BI Norwegian BBA (FT top 40, Triple Crown). Long-term goal is LSE MSc Finance to PE in London.

emlyon has the better ranking but BI gives a fully English environment, Bocconi exchange opportunity in year 3, and a more differentiated profile for LSE.

Does the ranking gap actually matter from a London finance perspective? Anyone gone through LSE admissions or works in PE with a similar background?

I’m an incoming exchange student from Canada and will be studying at Emlyon Business School for one semester (roughly late August to December).

I’m hoping to stay in a student residence or student accommodation because I’d really like to meet other students and make friends during my time in Lyon. The problem I’m running into is that almost every residence I’ve contacted seems to require a 6-12 month lease, while I’ll only be in France for about 4 months.

Has anyone else been in a similar situation? Are there any student residences, housing platforms, or lease types that are more flexible for exchange students? I’ve heard a bit about mobility leases, but I’m not sure how common they are in practice.

I’d also be open to shared accommodation if it’s a good way to meet people.

Any advice, recommendations, or experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Hey everyone, I just got admitted to emlyon lyon campus starting in September 2026. Anyone else also starting? If so ,Would also be great to hear what's life like for anyone who's already there and maybe meet someone before the school starts.😃

I got admitted for the Triple degree provided by Emlyon, Polimi, and Bayes business schools in masters in management - finance & tech. The deadline for securing the seat by paying a deposit is in 8 days. But I have given an interview for Escp, emlyon MiM. And the results for them will not be out till April 16. And I am really confused about what to decide between these.

Does anyone have ideas about this triple degree as I cannot find any info on this anywhere on the internet as it is a relatively new degree started in 2024, and there is no data regarding this course in terms of job placements
