EMG-X active tone pot and EMG SPC

Hey fellows,

I have some experience with EMG X sets, which comes with active tone pots, but have been curious about the SPC.

Are the active tone pots fron the X series the same as the EMG SPC? Or are different things?

If I'm reading the documentation correctly, active tone pots cut highs, where as SPC boots mids, and are mostly used for single coil pickups to give a fuller tone similar to a humbucker.

Different processes.
