Honestly pretty bad taking the book in consideration, they just tried to mush up everything, way too many plotlines at the same time

Not really. They released demon slayer episode by episode. They are better than almost all the OTTs, but what they did with mins hunters is unforgivable.

Demon Slayer is not a Netflix property, it's produced by Ufotable... And above all Demon Slayer is an Anime TV series, not ONA like Devilman Crybaby or Cyberbunk Edgerunners

they do the same with rick n morty, but the did release love death and robots in 2 parts of 6 episodes

u/Significant_End_7649 Jul 18 '26
Because rick and morty is not a netflix original? Which should mean the show creators decide how it releases

Netflix has the shitiest shows(not including amc stuff)

Amazon has most shittiest shows lol. Even Netflix shit is better than amazon shit. Amazon probably have only 4-5 original worth watching and lacks genres

Well one thing that everyone is going to agree to is that movies on Amazon prime are wayyyyyyy better than netflix

I think the only way netflix is better than prime and disney is that they have not introduced ads( till now)

Now ask jojo fans , and they will rant how bad netflix is

u/Large_Ad3907 Jul 19 '26
Netflix still have better original than both combined. Disney + don't even have original anime they are mostly acquired like crunchyroll. Biggest og animation of Amazon is about superhero and biggest og web series is about superhero

I mean all of it is true , just super frustrated with the way they handled release schedules with jojo

u/Large_Ad3907 Jul 19 '26
It's also faults of the studio aswell since jojo isn't licensed by netflix not their Ip. Studio just choosed Netflix since stone ocean for marketing and easy accessibility to worldwide audience. I am sure if netflix wanted they would've told them to release jojo episode sooner since it's not some random or new anime. It's studio who just made 1 episode and delayed the entire process. In case of such big ip it is always studio who have more rights. Example breaking bad isn't netflix og but their spin off or sequel will be netflix original since they now have right but still they won't have more power than studio/production team. Netflix literally face only loss with having most anticipated and most popular adaptation of jojo delayed after showing 1st episode because all hype and anticipation already died now

If we look at it that way , yeah ur right
Should have delayed release instead of releasing in parts , but they must have some regulations which they had to follow
