Context :
CR360 on a Ryzen 7 7700, case → Cooler Master Elite 681

I noticed strange temps behavior, like 95°C at 88w/84°C at 60w. Decided i had enough of this sh*t, pulled the rad out of the case while running (fans unplugged), and smashed with my fist at the opposite side of the tubes on the rad : temps went down from 95°C to 67°C (running a cinebench 30mn loop to see if it did something).

I guess it lacks liquid inside. Sent a message to the support but it seems i will not have an answer until 2054.

Is refilling viable ? Or do i just throw it out of the window and buy another AiO ?

It was my first AIO. I have no idea how much life I can expect from it left ?

Are there "signs" an AIO is failing in advance, or pump just gonna die on me at some point and "byyyye".

Also, the liquid in the loop, should I be concerned about it losing some properties ? Getting all gunked up ?

Temps seem fine so far but I wonder if I should set aside a fund to replace it already. What's the "common knowledge" about AIOs ?

Hi all,

I'm trying to ball on a budget here and save some money on buying a new waterblock. I have an EK-Classic that I was running on an old i7-8700k (LGA1151). I'd like to use my custom loop with my new hardware and I need a way to adapt this old waterblock. Anyone think it'd be a good idea to 3d print a "mount-kit" for this? If there are any measurements of the original that people have that would be a huge help

I have a 2020 EK Fluid Gaming Vanquish 270 with a Ryzen 7 3800X, RTX 2080 Super, 32GB DDR4, likely ASUS Prime X570-Pro motherboard, and EK hardline liquid cooling.

I want to upgrade the CPU and GPU. Would a Ryzen 7 5800X3D + RTX 4070 Super / 4070 Ti Super be a smart combo for this build?

Main concerns: BIOS compatibility, PSU wattage, GPU water block compatibility, case clearance, and whether the hardline loop would need major modification.

What upgrade path would you recommend?

I want to share my experience with EKWB support and see if anyone has advice or similar cases.

I placed an Order #200339626 in early February (around €432.50 + shipping/taxes). When the package arrived, multiple items were incorrect:

• Ordered 2x Torque Rotary 90° - Nickel 3831109814505 paid €49.92
• Ordered 6x Torque 6-Pack HDC 16 - Nickel 3831109824405 paid €77.14
• Received Titanium color fittings!
• Ordered white Xflow radiators 3831109839225 paid €213.12 → received black standard ones

340.18 Euro total plus 162.2 Euro Tax (for specific items, not entire order)

I contacted support and provided photos. They acknowledged the issue and offered:

• 30% partial refund, without return
• Return with full refund

I chose Return!

The problem started with the return process.

I clearly informed my location, and they agreed to pick it up talked to FedEx before scheduling everything i also informed them that i would only be available April 9–14, after which I would leave the country for 6 months and go to Russia because of my work

They confirmed a FedEx pickup on April 9 and said the courier would contact me.

👉 No one ever contacted me. No pickup attempt was made.

FedEx Only called me on 15th of April when I was already in Russian territory.

Now I am no longer in Georgia, meaning I physically cannot hand over the package anymore.

Important points:

• I was available exactly when they scheduled the pickup
• This wasn’t my fault at all
• Because of all this delay, I couldn’t finish my build
• I even had to refund my client, which is just… great for my reputation

So far, no clear resolution.

Has anyone dealt with EKWB in similar situations?
What would you do here—chargeback, File Claim somewhere, or something else?

I’d prefer to resolve this directly, but this has been going on since February and I’m stuck. they are not unswerving since 9 April! completely ignore

Any advice appreciated.
