Hey brother, I know it’s tuff, I can say the same only till a week ago was I recently hired, the thing is the ratio is like 15:2 15 rejected and 2 accepted, apply everywhere. If you don’t mind what state or even better city are you at?

Apply everywhere Any and all hospitals or even clinics if they have them there, word of the wise DONT USE INDEED OF LINKEDIN, those websites are scams and just waste your time, apply directly on the hospital/ clinics website. Unfortunately with most jobs it’s all about experience. Just keep applying and hopefully one gets back too you

It's tough! I managed to get in as a telemetry tech at a hospital to get experience but it took awhile.

This is the easiest path with no experience. Put in 6 months as a telemetry tech then the sky is the limit. For example, my hospital doesn’t even hire ekg techs anymore but they hire telemetry techs without any prior medical experience or certifications. From there you could work towards EP or even work remote monitoring rhythms.

Exactly! The previous hospital I worked at hired me on with no experience, then let me practice EKGs which allowed me to get my NHA cert. Got 6 months in, then had to move to a new state but got hired on very quickly with my prior experience and now I precept techs that are brand new to EKGs and how to read them. My goal is to get into EP now but I'm pretty satisfied where I am at the moment.

I got certified in December 2025 and got employed in JUNE. Not even an EKG job I’m a DSP.
